Its better spent elsewhere. AC is noisy, stained bedskirts and floors, bad TV, etc. Im not sure where to end this mess. Asked 3 times to change a nasty badskirt and it hasnt been done because housekeeping goes home at 4pm. Spend the extra 30 bucks and stay somewhere decent. Never again!

We were looking for another hotel and landed up by accident at the Hawthorn Suites. Having gotten late, we decided to check in. Rosie at the front desk was extremely helpful and gave us a lovely room as well as two passes for a lovely show for the next evening. We had a room with two queen size beds which... More

This is my second time staying at this place. It's only 5-10mins away from the big hotels. Nice fresh breakfast in the mornings, clean exercise room, great for family reunions. Many improvements have been made since the last time I was there. A big plus "pet-friendly"!

I am partly to blame for this experience, only because I waited until the last minute to book a room during the Memorial Day weekend. It should have been a clue when all the other hotels were sold out and this place still had rooms. I have traveled extensively with my work and have stayed at great hotels and no... More

We needed to stay in Reno for a full week, and needed a place that would take our dog. After calling around, they offered the best rate with that considered -- $65 rate with $10 per night for the dog for three nights, and afterwards he was free (most other places the rate was $15 or higher, and every night).... We reserved our rooms online expecting a nice hotel, but were sadly disappointed upon arrival. Our rooms (we booked two rooms for our family) were tiny and cave-like. The bathroom fan was very noisy. I noticed a "Rodeway Inn" emblem in the housekeeping room, and felt a little "taken". I was under the impression that Hawthorn Suites had nicer more... More

One day a bag of pretzels went missing from our room after housekeeping was there. Our card was charged (or authorized) the day of our arrival for the first night and then for the second two nights. Then when we checked out, we were charged for the full 3 nights. There is currently over $180 being held on my debit... More

I booked three rooms here as part of a family trip. There was some sports event going on that weekend, and all the big places were totally booked. I reserved the Hawthorn based on the reviews on Trip Advisor, and we were not disappointed. All the rooms were very nice, with comfy beds with comforters, granite counters in the bathroom,... More

Stayed in a 4th floor room which has a cathedral ceiling. When I reserved the room it said it had a kitchenette. I was blown away to find a full size fridge, 2 burner stove, toaster, coffee maker and mini-microwave. Glasses, bowls, plates, silverware and even a potato peeler were provided. Very clean and well appointed room. A/C worked great.... More

This hotel is an awesome value for the price. We love to stay at the Peppermill in Reno, but this was a soccer trip, and we wouldn't be using the amenities, so looking to save money and with breakfast included, we couldn't beat Hawthorn's price. We were in room 316, 2 queens with the kitchenette. I did think we were... More
