The Grand Sierra is the best place to stay in Reno and Tahoe. With the finest restaurants great service incredible rooms and great views there is no place better. And as for the service with the VIP service of Larry Rosborough there's none better. Larry goes out of his way to make sure everything is just right for you. He... More

Spent three nights 24-28 of January. Worst experience in a expensive up scale hotel. Paid 130.00 a night for Grand suite on 26th floor, people running and screaming and arguing and fallen down drunk in the hall ways at 3:00 in the morning out side or room. the entire hotel was full of filthy dread head druggies drunk and smoking... I just flat out think this is the best resort in the Reno/Tahoe area. The staff is superior, the facilities are clean, and the atmosphere is great. I've taken in concerts/shows there and just gone for the gaming. I have never had a bad stay and highly recommend. DeDe Crosby (Floor Boss) and Darrel Williams (VIP Host) are amazing. They... More

I like going to the Grand Sierra because they have plenty of the older style 3 reel slots I like to play. I also like their Players Club, lots of benefits like free food, rooms, and shows all the time. I never have to pay for a room, food, or shows when I go to GSR. On my last trip... More

My families got invited to GSR just about every week with their PROMO and activities. So it really not all about the free rooms, foods, or tickets to shows. For me it was about the great staff that they got at the tables. It was always someone new that took care of us. Mike Roller is one of the new... More

The most fun! Great winnings and rewards! It doesn't get better than having the GSR Host DARREL WILLIAMS. He maximizes your experience here and puts care into your play. Rooms are always spectacular. The Rim restaurant is the best in GSR. Great to sit and eat at Rims large round dinning bar with bartender TOM.

We had wonderful stay seeing String Cheese Incident. The hotel was beautifully decorated. We had a spill in our kitchen and Consuelo assisted us in friendly efficient manner. The security for event was easy going yet professional. The only downside was the cigarette smoke in casino. Could be better ventilated. We heard from a couple of our friends the food... More

Loved the food and the room and the spa/fitness area. (The family came for a gymnastic competition.) You have to walk through the terrible smells of the casino (stale smoke and alcohol) to get to the front desk. Once you're in, it's good. The food at Palmers Steak was great. Other food features were nice. There are some nice arcades... More

My friends and I cane to GSR for the Lil Jon show on Saturday night at their new nightclub LEX. We prepaid for our tickets but the line to get to our "prepaid line" took about 2 hours then we get to the line to find out the club is at occupancy and we have to wait another half hour!... More

We just had our second 2 night stay at the GSR. This is an all inclusive place to stay, no need to leave. 10 places to eat, movies, shops, entertainment, a gym...even shuffleboard (kind of like a cruise ship on land) And of course the casino! Family and dog friendly, although it was just the two of us. Elements Buffet... More
