Econo Lodges are usually pretty low-end, but this one was a pleasant surprise. The facility was probably built in the 60's and was undoubtedly "THE PLACE" at the time. There are 5-6 two-story buildings around a pool and courtyard. We were in a room at the back and it was surprisingly quite given the motel's location at Virginia & Plumb,... More

Vomit stained carpet, and chair. Towel rack comes off in your hand. Smoke alarm missing, just wires hanging from ceiling. Bedding and towels have stains. Dirt on almost everything, floor was so gross. Black mold on bathroom ceiling. Alarm clock did not work. Bathroom fan did not work. I would like to rate this room -5 stars. I would never... More

Our first impression looking at the hotel from the outside was that it was a bad idea to stay here. The place is dirty and run-down, and there were people from the street walking through the parking lot behind the hotel where only guests should be. We checked in, got our keys, and when we went into the room, someone... More

After reading the reviews after I had already booked the room, (on the road) we have a dog, we needed something pet friendly and since it was just for the night while we were passing through I didn't want to spend a ton of money. We pulled up, it is definitely connected to the Indian restaurant. The smell is overwhelming... More

We stayed here on two separate occasions within the same week. The first room we had was okay. There were however, exposed electrical components which I believe is not legal. The carpet wasn't too bad. Second room was much worse. The carpet was in dire need of a cleaning and the room smelled like dirty feet. Again, exposed electrical wiring.... More

Having stayed here on numerous occasions over two years, room cleanliness for me has always been adequate or better. The courtyard that you walk through, which can also be reached from the sliding doors of ground-floor rooms, does give a tiny oasis-like respite from the strip mall and the emerging artistic-grunge neighborhood of South Reno. It costs a bit more... More

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. First, it is an Econo Lodge not a Quality Inn. The lobby was dirty and reeked of the Indian restaurant that shares the lobby. There was old furniture and garbage on a trailer in the parking lot. Normally I would chalk that up to a remodel or something, but it... More

You may recall the wonderful cartoon with two dogs talking to each other, one on a computer who is saying to the other dog, "On the internet, nobody knows you're a dog!" Well, the same can be said for many hotels and motels in the world and the old Quality Inn in Reno NV, soon to become or now is... More

My room was quite old, and the air never did blow cold. As it was in the high 90's, this was an issue. You cannot control the temperature, just the blower. Staff was very nice. Free breakfast in the adjoining Indian restaurant ended at 9 AM. Seemed really early after staying up late the previous night (after all, this is... More
