The rooms are very nice, clean and bright. The people at check in were all pleasant and very friendly. The hotel is very clean, the security is present and doing their jobs and the ladies that have the job of pleasing us with free drinks were all very friendly and professional. It didn't hurt that the machines let you play... More

A good hotel with nice rooms and a variety of excellent places to eat near by. We had several rooms for our group and also a suite for communal gathering. Everything was clean and cozy. The casino clientele was mostly made up of hotel guests instead of the local Walking Dead. A breath of fresh air for downtown Reno.

The El Dorado is a pretty decent hotel for the price. Usually you can find good deals for this hotel. The rooms I've stayed in were very nice. One of the best reasons to stay here is that the hotel is centrally located to the other main casinos in the area.

Me and my wife stayed here on a Thursday night at the end of our 25th anniversary trip around Lake Tahoe. I booked us a king spa suite. I could not believe how beautiful this room was! It was exactly like the picture. We had a corner room on the 10th floor with a jacuzzi spa in the bedroom, a... More

But I really hate the resort fee, especially during the winter, Room was great. Very comfy bed. The casino was fun with really loose slots. Service at the front desk, not so great. It would be nice if they would volunteer a little information on where to catch a cab. All in all, they seemed confused most of the time.... More

I had a great experience at the El Dorado Hotel and Casino. I left $65 ahead so I did not hit the big one, but what a nice experience. My room was very clean and great value. The restaurants at the El Dorado were very nice and also a good value. The elevators always had a security guard present so... More

this hotel was chosen because of the mostly positive reviews that I read. They were correct!!! The hotel was clean and well appointed. Security to use elevators was a nice touch. As far as the room we had it was remodeled, clean and comfortable. Didn't eat at the hotel so cant say much about food. I would stay at this... More

They could only say their resort fee ($8 Which is about average, some go as high as $20 in Reno/Sparks so ask first) was so one could get 10% off at the gift shop and for the pool (which was closed)! In fact no hotel has been able to explain what a resort fee is - some say for the... More

My wife and I stayed here for four nights just before Christmas and we were very pleased with the hotel and casino. Check in was quick and it helps to be a member of the El Dorado Club as they have a special VIP line for these folks. We upgraded to a corner players suite (SPA 89) and we were... More

This hotel is a nice place to stay when visiting Reno. The rooms are nothing special but it's functional. The hotel has just about everything you need right inside. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the front desk needs help. There were 4 attendants at the desk at check in and none of them greeted... More
