I stayed one night at Atlantis recently while visiting the Reno-Tahoe area to go skiing. I got a great deal ($78 a night) through Expedia. Atlantis is great if you're looking for a clean, pleasant, quiet place to stay while visiting Reno for skiing or gambling. The room was clean and in excellent shape. The A/C system was quiet and... more

Don't book the Atlantis at the lower rates. You will end up at the motel outside which are ok I guess since I haven't been in them but try to pay a little more for the tower rooms. There was a slight problem when we got there so we were upgraded to a better room. The room we got was... more

We try to be as clear as possible in the category description, which currently reads: “Economy Motor Lodge.” We offer a variety of room categories at all price levels, from the budget and pet-friendly Motor Lodge, to...

I love to play and eat at the Atlantis. I just had to try the motel despite the negative reviews here. I stayed there by myself. I would not bring my wife or kids there. It's a motel, so the door opens to the world. Whatever's going on in Reno is going on right outside your door! Always an exciting... more

I work at a hotel in San Francisco and having to actually manage to get the weekend off took some serious back breaking negotiating. There is nothing better than anxiously awaiting your vacation and checking into a great unit, with great friends. Unfortunately, that feeling died out as soon as I arrived at 3 in the morning on Saturday and... more

My husband and I just finished up our Christmas vacation with a three night stay. We didn’t get the higher floor that we wanted or the king size bed (Oh the little pleasures in life!) but we did have a wonderful time and the customer service was outstanding! If you are a sushi lover Sherwin and Pam are the two... more

Just a quick warning: Avoid room 1137 and all those that are in line with it up and down the "luxury tower". The glass elevators slide right in front of the windows. And I mean within inches! The big cords hang in front of the windows and then the elevators woosh past. It's quite startling the first time it happens.... more

I went to Reno for a conference. My company booked tha Atlantis for me. I was pleasantly surprised at the hotel. While I am a frequent visitor to Las Vegas, it had been a while since I had been to Reno. The hotel was clean, easy to navigate. I liked that it did not take long to get from my... more
