I think we've stayed in most every hotel/casino in Reno and keep coming back to the Eldorado. There are many reasons. The Eldorado it seems goes above and beyond. They continue to make an investment in the guest experience and set a higher bar -- be it the cleanliness and condition of the room, the food, entertainment and service. Consistency... more

This is a basic hotel...the feel was like a stacked motel with a bunch of neon. Room was serviced regularly and clean. Only issue I had was when we checked in very late at night, there were prostitutes hanging around in the lobby. more

My family and I just returned from a 2 week long road trip vacation to California from Alberta. Our first stop was the Rodeway Inn in Pocatello next was New York New York in Las Vegas, then the Del Sol in Anaheim. After 6 days in Anaheim we stayed at America’s Best Value Inn in Santa Cruz and then the... more

We booked our room through Priceline and got a great deal...or so I thought. We got there and they only had smoking rooms since Priceline doesn't guarantee what kind of room you can get. We got into the room and it was this super tiny room, that was so smoked filled we couldn't even breathe. We have a two year... more

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the Eldorado on our recent vacation from the Oregon coast to Yosemite. The room was fine. We had to request a refrig and we"re charged for it. Internet is extra cost as well, although the didn't charge us for valet parking. I got a good deal on the room so I didn't... more

In Reno for a car club event, we wanted to stay downtown. I'm o.k. spending a little more for a larger room with a better view. Based on Tripadvisor reviews and after a number of calls and price changes, we ended staying in a 'Players suite' on the 6th floor, paying about $120. per night with taxes. The good: The... more

In Reno for a conference at the nearby University of Nevada, I stayed 4 nights at the Eldorado. This hotel was about a 20 minute walk from the university campus but one can take the free Sierra Spirit bus just outside the hotel which goes in a loop around downtown Reno. This hotel provides great value for Reno. First of... more

Stayed here for one night in May, moved over from another hotel because I got a better rate for a nicer room - was in town to visit someone in the hospital. Loved staying here so much that we are going back for a family trip in June :) The Good: Nice sized room, separate vanity area for sink, etc.... more

We recently stayed at the Eldorado Hotel and Casino. We started in a basic room, but asked on site for a suite upgrade and for only $40 more per night, we were treated to a suite that was spacious, clean and great views. There is yet another secret if you are trying to upgrade to a suite. Make sure you... more

Just completed our 11th vacation in Reno, and 10th stay at the Eldorado. We would stay no place else. The entire staff is top notch, rooms are comfortable and the food is best in town. Dealers are friendly and personable. They remember our names form year to year. The whole staff makes us feel at home. When in Reno visit... more
