Made our reservation 3 weeks ahead of our visit through the front desk manager. Was assured that we would have adjoining rooms, because we were bringing our 5 kids for the harvest festival and couldn't get a place large enough for all of us. We were not comfortable with the casino environment, but believed it was ok coz we wouldn't... More

Pahrump's not much of a city out in the middle of no place; generally it's pretty seedy. Not so for the oasis of Saddle West. Strongly suggest considering the 'deluxe' room. Bigger and has a refrigerator. The place is well kept-up and sports some weird topiary bushes. The room comes with a free breakfast, a hearty mix of hot and... More

I was told by a Californian friend that it is compulsory to smoke in Nevada. This place is a casino full of elderly smokers and you have to get to reception through the casino. The hotel bit is a motel at the rear and it is pleasant enough with a pool and clean spacious rooms. Breakfast means going back through... More

I watched a waitress roll her eyes continually as customers requested things. We ate at this restaurant three times because the breakfasts are free, and only encountered one polite waitress. Even the guy vacuuming the casino was upset when he had to move out of the way for people to get by him. I think they all need to find... More

We had stayed here before and this time we stayed unexpectedly since our RV broke down and needed to be repaired. The staff was wonderful. We had two rooms and had our five children with us and our older three attended a local day camp during our visit. The breakfast buffet is wonderful and our kids loved the pool. Also... More

Was a little apprehensive after reading some negative reviews about Saddle West. We have been visiting here for 20 yrs., about every 5 years. Have always made it a point to stay 2-3 days at Saddle West. Well as far as being run-down is concerned. Don't know what these people were looking at: the grounds, rooms, restaurant & Casino are... My husband and I, along with 4 other family members, stayed at Saddle West Hotel & Casino due to a recommendation of Front Sight. It was perfect for what we needed and the food packages where great to have. The front desk staff were a delight and the cafe staff where friendly, patient and very helpful. By the end of... More

Pretend you are on a Western Frontier. It will make the Saddle West Hotel seem more like an upscale hotel of another era. Although clean and welcoming, it's not a luxury hotel... Now the breakfast is another thing altogether! Wow! What selection and what great omelets are great! There are oatmeal AND cream of wheat, and waffles, fresh fruit, pastries,... More

I have stayed this establishment several times. The rooms keep getting more expensive without significant improvements. There is ample parking for larger rigs even semi trucks. They include the breakfast buffet your room package and the food in the buffet is much better than the last visit. Overall a pretty good value for a Friday evening stay

We made reservations based on friends who were staying there too for the Front Sight classes. First of all, during checkin you are standing in a room full of smoke that you could cut with a knife and Checkin took forever! We stayed in bldg 2, our room did not have a frig, coffee maker, or a blow dryer...Really?? Had... More
