The area is scenic and has good hiking, but this resort is definitely drab. The service is very apathetic and the property is tired. My room was large but certainly had mundane furnishings. The television was the worst I have seen in a while, with choppy reception. The internet didn't work during my stay. It took over a day to... More

This is my first review on Trip Advisor, and I wanted to start with a review of the Mount Charleston Resort, which I visited about a month ago. I needed a place to stay in the area the night before hiking Mount Charleston itself. My initial plan had been to stay at the Lodge up the hill, but their check-in... More

My wife and I took a brief getaway to beat the Las Vegas heat and had a great time. Everyone at the hotel was very pleasant. Our room was clean on our arrival. The restaurant was very good. We ate dinner there our first night and had breakfast the next morning also. Our food was delicious on both occasions.

The service is so slow and bad. My ribs were burnt and had black char on them and so tough my dog would not eat them. Todo an hour and half to get food hand there were onLy four tables filled. Ate my dinner from the vending machine told husband I'd eat a good breakfast. Ordered blueberry pancakes, really do... More

My wife and I stayed over 4th of July. The last time we stayed here was about 3 years ago, it is not the same at all! Everything was just horrible: - Checking in we noticed the placed seemed more rustic than before...more dirty, rustic and there was dead moths all on the floor in the lobby area. - We... More

We booked two nights 3 weeks prior to our arrival date they charged our credit card for a one night stay for the day we booked our reservation? The rooms are clean but old. the furniture is early thrift shop. They moved us from our first room to a second room, both those rooms had chairs that were wobbly and... More

My husband spent one night (Saturday, June 14) for our anniversary under the value pack pricing that includes a one night stay, dinner and breakfast. Dinner and breakfast includes your choice on the menu of any entrée, you pay for everything else. My husband and I always love coming to the mountains as a getaway from the Las Vegas valley... More

My long distance motorcycling buddies and I (5 of us) decided to end a three-day ride from Southern California to Arizona, Utah and Nevada at a 6000' high resort to escape the summer heat. With a bargain rate--compared to Las Vegas--and an opportunity to have moderate daytime temperatures and a cool evening it seemed like just like the right ticket.... More

As former residents of Las Vegas, we've stayed here several times over the last few years and two my friends got married here. If you are looking for a hotel experience with modernish amenities and activities, this is the place for you. The hotel (last time I checked) had a roomy lobby, spacious event space, a spa, and a decent... More

We live in Las Vegas and decided to get away from the heat at the last minute on a Saturday morning. We booked online and off we went. We had room #121 on the first floor with 2 beds, facing the little pond out front, pet friendly, as we took our Puggle along. The room was clean and comfortable and... More
