Once all the folks left from our destination wedding we needed some time to get out and hike. This place was the trick because it was fairly quiet and very affordable. We also dined and drank at this small resort and the folks there were very accommodating. If Vegas drives you nuts like us... head to Mt. Charleston

This hotel has wonderful views. The location is about a half hour drive the freeway. The hotel itself is a tad outdated, but works for the rustic theme. The rooms have their own faux fire places which is super cool. We reserved the picnic lunches and took them on our hike in Fletcher Canyon. If you are staying at this... More

Easy access to Mt Charleston's sledding and hiking areas. The food was good as well as the service. Its nice to get away and have a hotel that has snow right outside the main entrance. The hotel staff is really nice. Overall, an excellent place to stay. Would definitely stay again.

Our party of 8 people visited The Resort on Mount Charleston on Easter for their Easter brunch. The resort is very rustic. There is a pond and a patio out in front of the resort. The lobby was a good size with ample seating with a nice fire place and a couple pianos. The Easter brunch was held in their... More

I have lived in Las Vegas for 15 years. I always wanted to stay here at the Resort. I booked a room with a balcony and a king bed. The room was on the third floor. Bad part is there isn't an elevator, and no assistance dragging bags up to the third floor. The room was facing the back and... More

Close to las vegas, good stop on the way to death valley. Place is very odd like from the movie the shinning. However we liked it this rustic look very much, especially massive lobby area. Good place to explore nearby mountains. Rooms very nice, large with beautiful view of the mountains. Wifi didnt work. Very good Tv selection. Friendly staff... More

My wife and I had never been to Mount Charleston so we decided to spend a night here on her birthday. The lodge itself has a very cozy lobby with a rustic appeal. We had a room on the 3rd floor which is the top floor of the building. The room was big enough to be comfortable with a balcony.... More

We visit every year at Christmas time. We love the atmosphere, the people, the 360° fireplace and the good food. We have been bringing our boys and now grandkids here for years. Great picture taking areas. You can always have A White Christmas!"

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful one night getaway. Everything was perfect. From our easy to book reservations, yes we used a coupon, but it still would have been worth it without the coupon. Everyone provided excellent guest service. Precious works at the front desk, great service and very accommodating. Melody and Carmen were our servers at the "A... More

As first time vistor's we were excited to get all settled in our room. The first thing we notice is that we had no table to eat lunch or dinner on in our room. The second thing is that we did not have a dvd player in our room but their was a paper advising us that we could rent... More
