I have read other reviews and some are confusing this with the Resort at Mt. Charleston (the hotel), this location is the Mt. Charleston Lodge (at the top of the mountain, the cabins). This was a birthday getaway and we couldn't have been any happier. We stayed in cabin #23 as we had our dog with us (select cabins are... More

Our first visit to the mountains and stayed at the cabins. So relaxing and fun. Excellent food at the lodge. Awesome getaway for the family! This is the view from our room and outside balcony. No complaints at all.

We live in Florida, beautiful weather, sunny beaches and Palm trees. However, every once in a while we get nostalgic for snow. So, when we take one of our many sojourns to Las Vegas where it also rarely snows. We know that 30 minutes away. Mount Charleston has an elevation over 11,000 feet and an average temperature that is 20... More

This place is magical, if you are planning on a ski trip in Vegas and you don't want to drive the 40 minutes to go back in the busiest strip, just come by and book a night or 2 in here. The rooms are very cozy and the service is awesome. Rooms had little fridge and a microwave for your... More

Spent the night here to celebrate the wife's birthday and had a delightful time! Plus, they are pet friendly so we could bring our fur kids to share in the good times! The log cabins are cozy and situated at approx 7700 feet with a nice view of a towering, mountainous back drop. Our cabin #2 was very spacious, had... More

My wife and I recently spent a night at this lodge to get out of Vegas for a night. It's perched nicely on the side of the mountain and cabins seem to be situated in a way that gives everyone a view. The fireplace in the room is a very nice addition and adds to cabin feel tucked away up... More

Great location 45 minutes northwest of Las Vegas at 7500 feet, so it's normally 20 degrees cooler than LV. I've been to Mt Charleston in the summer and it had some great hiking trails, but this time we went at Thanksgiving and stayed in the cabin #15 and we had snow. What a view out our window! Take a look... More

The ownership has changed and the place, menu are greatly improved! The location is still same with great views of Vegas (you are at 8200 ft. above sea level). They still have the buffalo & elk burgers and the chili is great! The outside is fresh & smells of pine but the part of this place is still the food.... More

This is a review of the restaurant and bar only. I've stopped in to eat many times but never stayed there. Mt. Charleston is where we Vegas residents go to escape the oppressive desert heat, and to hike and enjoy the breathtaking mountain views. The Lodge, cabins and restaurant are located at the very top of the main road up... More

The cabins are nice and cozy. They are a bit expensive for what they offer, but escaping the heat in Vegas is priceless. The mountain views from the cabin's outdoor patio/deck is impressive. I'd recommend you try to reserve a cabin a bit lower on the mountain side so that the view isn't partially blocked by a neighboring cabin. A... More
