Didn't use the lodge for overnight but had a wonderful lunch outside after an invigorating hike that was suggested by the hostess at the restaurant. Great service, friendly staff and very good food. We ate on the side that is animal friendly and got to meet several cute and friendly dogs.

I booked a room here for a gift and paid by credit card. Unfortunately I had to cancel; and was told there was a 10% cancellation fee one day later. The staff was not helpful, friendly or apologetic; just said they were charging the 10%. I have stayed here in the past to escape the heat; and the cabins are... More

I rated this as average because I thought the property could use a little TLC. It has seen better days and a little paint and some decent finish carpentry could go a long ways towards giving it back the class it once had. The bar and restaurant was excellent. Reasonably priced for a tourista place. Overall, we paid for the... More

We made the drive from Las Vegas and it was a tremendous experience. We are from Florida so the scenery and the change of scenery as we went up the mountain was breathtaking. The views were fantastic and the food was delicious. And the relief from the oppressive Las Vegas heat was welcomed. We will definitely return here every time... More

I have eaten at the Lodge at Mt Charleston on several occasions and have enjoyed it very much. Friends I have been there with enjoy the views and food as well. If the weather permits, eat out on the patio and enjoy the scenic surrounds. The temperature is usually 15 to 20 degrees cooler than Las Vegas. Especially during the... More

Quite a change in scenery from Las Vegas . So we took s rental car here for a brunch. Great outdoor deck with views of surrounding mountain. Service was good . A good breakfast menu, and my pancake selection and coffee suited me. A fun spot at top of mountain.

We had visited a week earlier to see a cabin before booking. The one we received was different. The Love Birds cabin is set away from the others and previous guests have carved their initials on every available surface of the balcony. Some may find that romantic. I saw it as graffiti. The furniture and maintenance of this cabin was... More

You can check in around 2. We stayed in cabin 10. There was a propane leak when we got there (or so they thought) we had to wait about 2 hours to check in. Then we were able to check in but they had to wait for the gas company to light the pilot lights. The smell was overwhelming so... More

This was an erotic day time get away. I had spoken with Rhonda several times in getting the reservation set up. I was disappointed we did not get the suite we had discussed. She had not had one cleaned for us. We ended up on the third floor in a tiny boxlike but clean room. There was a door which... More

Stayed at cabin 12 for an early bday getaway!! Came with hubby, our son, and 120lb german shepard. We all loved it. Had a huge balcony to sit outside and enjoy cocktails, peacefulness, and the scenery. The room was very spacious-loved the fireplace and jacuzzi. Also loved no tv with the guys-that's all they do on weekends!! There is a... More
