We had visited a week earlier to see a cabin before booking. The one we received was different. The Love Birds cabin is set away from the others and previous guests have carved their initials on every available surface of the balcony. Some may find that romantic. I saw it as graffiti. The furniture and maintenance of this cabin was... More

You can check in around 2. We stayed in cabin 10. There was a propane leak when we got there (or so they thought) we had to wait about 2 hours to check in. Then we were able to check in but they had to wait for the gas company to light the pilot lights. The smell was overwhelming so... More

This was an erotic day time get away. I had spoken with Rhonda several times in getting the reservation set up. I was disappointed we did not get the suite we had discussed. She had not had one cleaned for us. We ended up on the third floor in a tiny boxlike but clean room. There was a door which... More

Stayed at cabin 12 for an early bday getaway!! Came with hubby, our son, and 120lb german shepard. We all loved it. Had a huge balcony to sit outside and enjoy cocktails, peacefulness, and the scenery. The room was very spacious-loved the fireplace and jacuzzi. Also loved no tv with the guys-that's all they do on weekends!! There is a... More

Thank you so so very much for a wonderful time at a wonderful place. I would recommend anyone who has an extra day in vegas, to take a day trip to Mount Charleston lodge. It's like entering the twilight zone. one second you are in the middle of the desert and the next one... in the mountain. Pine trees appear... More

Room was big, we had 2 king sized beds, a Jacuzzi tub and a fire place. Was very expensive for one night. They were also pet friendly, we paid a pet deposit, but when they learned they were service animals, they returned our fee (thank you!). All the staff were really friendly, and one of the staff even moved his... More

This review is for the Mt Charleston Lodge Dining Room, not to be confused with the Dining Room at the Mt Charleston Resort, which is a more modern establishment located further down the hill in a less appealing setting. I had breakfast here with an old friend and camping buddy. It is worth eating here simply for the setting. There... More

Definitively for those willing to take the time to get away from the strip and enjoy nature, and at the same time enjoy good service and food at their restaurant. The cabin my wife and I stayed was the second towards the inside of the canyon area #15 (second to last away from the road, sort of) and it was... More

Ok, most people go to Las Vegas for the glitz and glamour of the strip, and so do I. But I also believe in seing the entire area to get a better idea of the places I am visiting. The Mount Charleston Lodge is one of the places you don't want to miss. It's a short drive outside of Las... More

The cabins have a retro feel, in the best sense of the word. Our cabin was filled bright and airy. It was very comfortable, with a wonderful large deck overlooking the Spring Mountains. The deck has a porch swing and table and chairs- perfect for an afternoon picnic! The cabin set up affords quiet and privacy. The Lodge offers great... More
