Reading the reviews, I kind of laugh to myself. If you want to stay in a 5 star hotel, stay in VEGAS!!!! If you want to escape the hussle and bussle of the Vegas life and escape to a beautiful, romantic, and comfy little cabin, stay at the Lodge. Take it for what it is people! Its absolutely amazing in... more

My wife and I spent the weekend at the Mt. Charleston Lodge. We stayed in #15 which had an amazing view. If you are going ask for #15 or #16 as the views are not blocked at all. The cabin was cute and cozy however be prepared as there is no TV reception but they do have a DVD player... more

My wife and I stayed in Cabin #4 at the Lodge for one night. We arrived after a heavy snowfall (up to 18 inches) the day before (Christmas Day) that had resulted in a white-out and shut down the Lodge's restaurant at 4 p.m.--it was closed so the staff could get back down the mountain road, our waiter told us.... more

The wife and I booked a one night stay as a "get away" of sorts. We're Vegas residents, so it was only a 30 minute drive to the Mt. Charleston Lodge. We arrived shortly after the stated 3 PM check in time. We signed the check in paperwork, and were given our room key (we stayed in cabin 17). First,... more

My husband and I stayed here in March for a romantic getaway. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. The cabins our situated in rows kind of shaping a triangle. There is only one cabin "the lovebird" cabin (#16) that sits by itself the furthest out on the mountain. This is the cabin that we were in. The private balcony is worth... more

We're very familiar with the Vegas area and decided this summer to escape the heat for a few days. We rented a cabin (#11) at the Mt. Charleston Lodge, an hour west of the strip, and at 7600 feet, it was delightful, with highs in the low 80's, lows in the mid-50's, excellent hiking in every direction. We did enjoy... more

We went here for our 30th wedding anniversary. I have read some bad reviews about this place, but we had a very nice time there. It was very clean and we didn't have any problems with anything. We had the cabin (#5) with the kitchenette and they supplied many things for a basic kitchen, even a crock pot. This cabin... more

While the cabin was nice, and the scenery gorgeous, my fiancé and I will never return here following our horrific encounter with their management. Having worked in the Hotel industry many years ago, we strive to make our hotel rooms as easy as possible for staff to reset following our stay. This hotel was no exception. When we left our... more

My husband, two children and I stayed Saturday night over the long Fourth of July weekend in the "honeymoon" cabin at the Lodge. We went with another couple and at the time of making the reservation, were told we would be able to have cabins next to each other. We checked in around 3:30pm (check in begins at 3:00) and... more

The Cabins are very nice with Jacuzzi, Fire place, king size bed and patio. Our stay was overall good. We had only one inconvenient: After we filled-up the Jacuzzi, we did not have any hot water for about 1h. The Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food for lunch and dinner is good, try the pizza. For... more
