I made reservations for this establishment. They were full, but reservations stated a non-smoking King Jacuzzi room was available. Bonus, since I was travel about 12+ hours a day and on day two. Upon check-in, I was told it was available, the front desk person stated she didn't know why, she only works the front desk. I requested a manager.... More

Spent the night at the Tropicana with my daughter and her family. The rooms were clean, but the carpet was old thoughout the hotel. The rooms were just average, but the price was right and we were able to get two rooms for a really good price.

I agree with other reviews - the rooms don't look like the advertisements. They may have looked like those photos at one time, but it was long ago. The rooms are clean for the most part, the furniture is a little worn, and the carpet could use a shampoo. They do triple sheet the beds, but instead of a duvet... More

The pictures of the promenade tower rooms look upscale and very nice. The actual room itself is nowhere close. Duct tape holds the carpet down as you enter the room, stains cover entire sections of the carpet, furniture is all scratched up, and the mattress was worn out. For that price we expected more. They advertise that these rooms were... More

I am so sad to mark this hotel as "poor"! We stay here 80% of the time, when we are in Laughlin. Normally are stay here isn't to bad for the money we pay. This time is a completely different story! To begin the sheets looked dirt, the comforter smelled like butt (a very dirty butt), one of the pillows... More

I stayed in the adult tower. Room was nice and clean. Quiet with no kids around. I liked the location. Close to everything. Buffet is only average but the restaurants in hotel are much better. They are in the midst of some remodeling.

We stayed in the Promenade tower 4th floor & the hall carpets were filthy.I don't think they were vacuumed as the same junk sat outside 1 room for the 3 days we were there. The bar of soap is soooo small The rooms need updating-possibly charge a little more.We stayed on the 19th floor in the Promenade floor last year and... This place is old, grimy and cheap. Since it was 105° outside, I had no energy to go searching for more suitable lodging. The sheets felt about 50 years old. I was grateful they didn't have bedspreads, and instead used a sheet with a design on it which would show anything truly filthy. There was no mini refrigerator in the... More

This use to be the Ramada Hotel and Casino, Tropicana has made very little changes since they took over. The train ride [that some thought as silly] is gone, yet the memorabilia is still TRAINS. Their slots could use a bit of updating, but if you like the old games - this is the place for you. Rooms are average.... More

We stayed at this property for three nights in September, 2014. The floor we were on had recently been remodeled. Our room was spacious, very clean, and well-appointed. The king bed was one of the more comfortable beds we have slept in. Our room was free due to a players club promotion, but had we paid for the room the... More
