After checking in, we went up to our room on the 22nd floor of the back tower of the property. The interior of the elevator was disgusting... it looked as though people had coughed, sneezed, or vomited all over the glass and doors, and it hadn't been cleaned up. Exiting the elevator, we found the area to be clean and... More

The stay would have been okay, but the lady at the front desk was very very rude. She treated my grandma as if she were stupid. She really made the hotel experience horrible. The casino inside the hotel was also just alright. Everything could have used an update, I felt like I was in the 1980s

This is my return visit from about a year ago. I was afforded a complimentary stay due to have joined their players club. The room on the 22nd floor was quite nice. I had a view of the river and the casino strip. The room was quite nice. The king sized bed was comfortable. The furnishings were good. The TV... More

As someone who has been in the hotel business in several states I am reading the reviews and they are not accurate, these people that book online to get the cheapest rates then are disappointed because the get the hotels cheapest rooms should not be upset you are getting what you paid for, if you want he nice upgraded rooms... We made a 7 night reservation at the Trop through booking.com because breakfast was included however, to our surprise, the confirmation revealed that 'included' meant one time per stay, not every day. Further study revealed that many customers had been fooled by this policy. We decided to stay two nights, Friday and Saturday over Halloween, when the breakfast would cost... More

I made reservations for this establishment. They were full, but reservations stated a non-smoking King Jacuzzi room was available. Bonus, since I was travel about 12+ hours a day and on day two. Upon check-in, I was told it was available, the front desk person stated she didn't know why, she only works the front desk. I requested a manager.... More

Spent the night at the Tropicana with my daughter and her family. The rooms were clean, but the carpet was old thoughout the hotel. The rooms were just average, but the price was right and we were able to get two rooms for a really good price.

I agree with other reviews - the rooms don't look like the advertisements. They may have looked like those photos at one time, but it was long ago. The rooms are clean for the most part, the furniture is a little worn, and the carpet could use a shampoo. They do triple sheet the beds, but instead of a duvet... More

The pictures of the promenade tower rooms look upscale and very nice. The actual room itself is nowhere close. Duct tape holds the carpet down as you enter the room, stains cover entire sections of the carpet, furniture is all scratched up, and the mattress was worn out. For that price we expected more. They advertise that these rooms were... More

I am so sad to mark this hotel as "poor"! We stay here 80% of the time, when we are in Laughlin. Normally are stay here isn't to bad for the money we pay. This time is a completely different story! To begin the sheets looked dirt, the comforter smelled like butt (a very dirty butt), one of the pillows... More
