Had never stayed at the Tropicana Express, and some of the reviews were a little scary. The room was clean and comfortable, plenty of towels and toiletries daily. As with a previous review we too had the bed bug problem. No one cares. They are trying to cut costs and the service has really suffered. We have been going here since it was built. The room was a cesspool and cramped. You could not tell what the pattern on the carpet was because of the plethora of stains on it. The T. V. had about 7 channels. I paid for a river view and found out that this hotel has a river view from across the road and around the edges of the hotels... more

I just love the Tropicana, there rooms are always clean and there beds oh my gosh are sooooooo comfy. When I stay there I never want to get out of bed. There service is always good and fast too. Having stayed at Stratosphere in Las Vegas only a few days earlier it was obvious to compare, and the Tropicana Express did not come out favourably. Stayed there 2 days 6-30-7-1 Got one of the old rooms for 10 dollars a night. room still pretty nice. They go usually for 20 a night but had a 2 for 1 special going. Would stay there again. Coffee shop is still good , as it has been for years. Go see the burros at Oatman. more
