We have always wanted to stay at the Pioneer Hotel, but never was able to get reservations. This time we were so excited cause we got in, the stay was very great, and service was impecable, Until the check-Out time. This one employee was very rude to us, at least it felt like we did something wrong to her. We told... more

My partner and I have always enjoyed dropping in the Pioneer when we are in Laughlin. A few years ago we began to question 'how tight has management made the nickle machines?' We decided to test our experience on this trip and found that not only were we 'realizing' this experience but other's playing the nickle slots have been dropping... more

This was the most awfull experience I have ever had at a Hotel/ Casino in Laughlin. The rooms smelled like mold and mildew and the staff was beyond rude. Everone we encountered was not helpfull and made you feel you were bother them. Especially the bartenders. Who also watered down the drinks. (especially premium alchohol) Please listen and do not... more

The Pioneer looks a little out of place in Laughlin, all the other hotels and casinos look like big hotels and casinos and the Pioneer styled to look like a wild west town certainly stands out. The hotel has an old world feel to it, mainly due to the decor - We thought it all added to the rustic charm... more

Not my first time here or the last. Always freindy from the desk to the dealers. Yup, it's cheap to stay here (I'd even pay a little more, but don't tell them), but the rooms are large and clean. Two great bars, one overlooking the Colorado. The buffet is nice and Grannys although $$$ is worth dressing up for. Looking... more

This is one of the nicest places on the river, the folks are all so great to the military groups that attend reunions there and the rooms are clean and worth the price. Paula & Odie always make us feel more than welcome. We will continue to return each year. Thanks for the memories. more

My first visit to Laughlin, NV The Pioneer Hotel, Casino is probably the most interesting place on Casino Row...It's really mostly a large motel with a western themed Casino. Very friendly staff. Worn but clean rooms with the western theme. Good security with armed men on the grounds all night and day. You park near you room outdoors. Pay extra... more

My Wife and I had come from the Uk to get married in Las vegas and spend our Honeymoon on a road trip. To cut a long story short, some one at our Hotel recommended Laughlin. So we made our way there and found the lauglin visitors center who found us a room at the River Palms. Well we hated... more

Old, beat up, it smells and the plumbing barely works. Surely you can find something better even if you have to pay a few more bucks. more
