We stayed January 14-16. I did not want to pay the high price of staying on the strip. Love Fremont Street! Why pay more if you aren't in your room alot? It was clean, our room was quiet. The bathroom was very small and no hair dryer but overall - definitely recommend and go back! More

The only reason this place doesn't get 4 stars is because the food court wasn't open yet and the casino seemed small for such a large hotel. Maybe these will all improve soon. The room reminded me of the Greektown casino in Detroit. Very nice and modern. What a deal! More

My wife and I travel to Las Vegas for business and pleasure several times each year, and generally prefer to stay downtown or on the smaller resorts off Boulder or in Henderson. The Plaza is one of our favorite hotels primarily because the location, at the head of Fremont St. The place had started to show its age prior to... More

I read alot of negative reviews for this hotel, but it was great! The check in and out were both very fast, and the staff friendly. The room renos look really good, and yes the toilet / tub room is very small. The beds are very comfortable, and my room on the 9th floor north tower was very quiet. Someone... More

We've stayed in downtown before, and before we booked to stay there, we did see how bad it was and the foyer looked bad...and before we left we read many bad reviews on the upgrade to the plaza. However despite all the negativity i am please to say that we really enjoyed our stay last week 17- 22 Jan. Of... More

Sitting at the West end of Fremont Street, the Plaza offers a well located mid-level hotel for the Vegas Budget traveler. The Pros we found were: 1. Price ~ $50/nt 2. Location - Near the eccentric Fremont Street Experience, always a good time. 3. Large room with good details. 4. Good Sports Book 5. Good variety of electronic games. 6.... More

My best friend and I decided on a two adventure to Sin City, we booked our hotel through an on line discount site. The only request was that the room be in the downtown area............The room was great! and located in the newly decorated North tower, with just a few cons 1) no coffee pot and 2) no ice macihine... This hotel had good beds, big rooms, and have been upgraded the last few years. Room had thin walls, (you can hear every conversation in next room) and windows so dirty you could hardly see out of them. Make sure you get the room you pay for. (we didn't) Best thing at the plaza was the resturant - Hash House... More

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights, the first week of November. We have been to LV many times but have never stayed Downtown. The room rate was mid $30s per night which was a great price. Since we were going to be at the SEMA show for several days during the day, we thought it might be... More
