The old Union Plaza is changing in a good way with new promos and mew marketing people and ideas and most notably VP of Casino Marketing Nick Ippolito( whom has the Nickname Jimminy Crickett and has brought the old Vegas to the Plaza. A young CEO Jonathon, that thinks outside the box along with General Manager Mike and they are... More

This may once have been a good hotel but no longer. Having stayed here many times years and years ago I came back to try the new and improved version. It was not worth the visit. Everyone had their hands out - $5 parking from the valet with no signs I could see. No free luggage carts. No coffee maker... More

First off, I am writing this review while still staying here. I am a frequent traveler to Vegas, stayed in my fair share of hotels here, and I am just appalled at the cocktail servers here. Overall, the hotel is nice, just have to share an experience I had last night that seems to be the ongoing thing here based... More

The hotel is older not on the strip but in the heart of downtown. Parking garage was dirty, but casino floor and the room was surprising very clean, newly remodeled, nice view, and beds were very comfortable. The main restaurant downstairs has huge and I mean huge portions tastes great at great prices. Our room didn't have a coffee pot... More

Hi Catherine, Thank you for sharing your experience. We are happy you thought the casino and room were clean, nice, and comfortable. We love Hash House and they sure do have huge portions. We are glad you sorted out the coffee pot situation. Thank you for recommending us. We hope you will come back again soon. More

The entire hotel reeks of raw sewage. The photos made the hotel seem like it was older but in good repair. The room itself wasn't horrible, appearing to have been redone in the past few years. However the smell of raw sewage was overwhelming.

Hi Amanda, Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed the room. The construction on Main Street, which includes underground pipe maintenance and replacement, has caused a disruption in plumbing and water flow to and from the hotel. While we cannot predict the scope and effects of public work projects, we try our best to react to these... More

I typically stay at the Golden Nugget or recently the Downtown Grand. This however was a last minute trip so our affordable options were limited and I had stayed here once since the remodel and thought it was great. Not so this time. Immediately upon entering the hotel, lying on its back right in front of the hotel check-in desk... More

This isn't a review on staying at the plaza, I haven't. This is a review of TRYING to stay at the plaza....Back in March of this year, my wife and I were staying at the golden gate and we were doing the usual round of casino hopping and ended up at the plaza. After playing 21 for awhile, we ended... More

nicely renovated hotel at a GREAT price. The pool water was clean but there is a lot of work to do on the deck area. The trash, old gum and cigarette butts on the pool deck are never cleaned up and just left to blow away. The ring around the rim of the pool could use a good cleaning and... More

Place is located next to Greyhound station so area felt more like a walk in skid row then Vegas.
