My girlfriend and I were returning from a show at the Venetian when we were assaulted by four black men at the front entrance. My 5'6, 115-lb girlfriend suffered a broken nose and likely requires plastic surgery. The hotel had no security present, and it took an unacceptable amount of time for security to arrive. I immediately filed a report... More

My husband and I plus our adult son stayed at the Excalibur for three nights. We found the buffet to be excellent in terms of cost and quality. The food was tastey, the price was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a medical problem that occurred before we arrived but needed medical attention during our visit.... More

Who goes to Vegas to spend their time in their hotel room? The Excalibur is not the Wynn so don't expect to be pampered. We stayed in Tower 2 and it was decent, nice and quiet. We did the all day buffet one day, eating lunch at the Luxor and supper at the, nothing to write home about, there are... More

I stayed here for two nights during the week, so I was able to get a rate of about $40/night (plus the dreaded resort fee). So for about $55/night to be on the strip and in a great location, I was happy. I stayed in Tower 1. The room was dated and I was disappointed that there was no tub,... More

We have stayed her about 5 times. It is one of the best ways to be on the strip without paying to much. It is older and you can really tell in the rooms but who cares. We don't really spend to much time in the rooms while we are there so it doesn't matter to us.. The beds are... More

I have been to Las Vegas many times and the Excalibur usually comes through as a cheap alternative to the big name hotels. The rooms are cozy. The casino floor is one of the most crowded I've seen in Las Vegas and navigating the floor is complicated. The pool is unremarkable. Nothing for children, but as I was here on... More

We bought a single night (Friday night) room off Vegas.com for $140 (with tax, but did NOT include the resort fee that we had to pay at check in which came out to almost $17 in taxes). We stayed in Tower 1 on the 5th floor. Our room was average. The beds were decent but the room was not decorated... More

I stayed here for a few nights. Upgraded to a widescreen room that overlooking the strip. Rooms was clean. The benefit of this hotel is the walkway to Luxor and Mandalay Bay. One of the drawbacks with this hotel is the old and smoked in casino. So if you can't take the smell of tobacco while walking from your room... More

...and remember that they, like most hotels in Vegas, have a 'resort fee' which adds $18 per room per night for essentially no good reason other than to make them more money at your expense. I won't lie, I was getting to bed at 5:45am and 4:45am on the two nights I was there due to pesky poker but I... More

Really enjoyed everything about the hotel. Great location and services. Used the pool each day- really appreciated that one of the four pools was adult only. We stayed in Tower 2 and had a great view of the strip. Loved the casino and restaurant choices. Loved the automated craps game- FUN! Only things that weren't the best: pool closes at... More
