Held a reunion that had about 20 booked rooms. One would think there would be at least SOME cordination between the front desk & marketing office, but NO!! One attendee had to sit in the check-in lobby for almost 3 hours until he spotted someone he knew to find out where the hospitality suite was. WHY IS THE CHECK-IN DESK... More

We spent three nights at the Riviera in January and had a great time. The check in was quick, the desk clerk very personable and helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The casino staff was friendly and we never had to look for a server. The casino host, Sarah, was very helpful and informative. I had... More

We have stayed at the Riviera for years. Granted, it is one of the oldest hotels on the strip, but you couldn't ask for better service and kindness. From the check in to dealers to pit bosses, they are all so nice and make your stay more enjoyable. The food at the Riviera was great. The R restaurant was delicious.... More

We visited this hotel daily on our second visit to Vegas last year, we loved the free Spin the Wheel outside where we got Drinks Vouchers, Meal Coupons, Free Shows and 241 Discounts that we used in the hotel...We enjoyed them all...And meals in Wicked Vicky Tavern were superb. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the place was clean... More

I don't understand why people expect to pay $50 a night on the strip and then expect 4 star service! This hotel is exactly what I expected to get for the price. We were in the old building and everything reflected the building, old. There's no need to stay right in the middle of the strip activity because we are... More

We returned to the Historic Riv for our cousin's reunion last weekend. It exceeded my expectations. Check in was easy using the kiosk, room was big and clean, carpet looked newer, bathroom was big, clean, good shower, bed was firm. The staff was surprisingly upbeat and positive. Dealers were helpful. The best thing we did was the Matt Zaham comedy... More

I stayed a couple of extra days after a business trip. First off you absolutely get what you pay for. I stayed in the renovated Monoco tower. It was acceptable, especially for the price. The employees were ok especially since they found out it is going to be torn down May 4 to make room to add on to the... More

My son had a competition at this hotel again this year and thankfully I didn't stay here again. It looks and feels old, the food court is grosse, and I'm sure the rooms are just as nasty as they were a year ago. I'm hearing they are going to level this hotel this year. ... let's hope so!

My one girl friend and I just back from staying at the Riviera in Vegas yesterday. After reading reviews on this hotel, I was very skeptical. Our stay ended up being great! Check in and check out was great and smooth. There were lots of employees working during these times and we barely had to wait in line. The resort... More
