The Riviera changed my reservation 3 time without my notice right after an employ told us this would not happen. Room was dirt, view of concrete wall. Coffee shops that doesn't open until 8am. Forced to go sit in restaurant for a cup of coffee, $5 for a cup. This is my first and last time at this dump.

We had a few drinks in the bar before the Forever Doowop show and the casino floor and bar area all need a good clean or better still a revamp. There doesn't appear to be any love for the hotel, it is shabby and unwelcoming on entry. I think it lives on it's history but doesn't live up to it... More

The valet lost car, found it but then lost the keys & fob for the same car. Otherwise the stay was ok. The price was reasonable for what you get. Loved the free wifi- no login needed. I would stay again although the car situation was really annoying and delayed our departure about an hour.

Wanted to stay on the Strip for convenience - but it's a little far from the center, had to cab it as the walk is long. Room is average size, clean, a little old and could use some upgrading. Housekeeping staff was pleasant and helpful. Beds were a little soft, but sleepable. I don't care where you stay and I... More

Signs and posters in the hotel lobby reflect back to the star studded performances in the early days of the "Riv". Its one of the cheaper hotels on the strip, and is conveniently located near the Las Vegas Convention Center, which is why I chose to stay there. I wasn't expecting the "Ritz", but with a $22 per night room... More

This was the worst stay we've ever had in Vegas. The only way to get a non smoking room was to pay an additional $15. We were traveling from Northern Utah to Southern California and just needed a hotel for some sleep. The room is so permeated with smoke that even my hair smells like it! And it will take... More

I stayed earlier this year with some friends as a little quick get away. The price at the time seemed like a really good deal so we booked at the Riviera. Needless to say it was a bit further from the main and more popular part of the strip which is probably why the price was so appealing to us.... More

The Riviera was my choice due to price and the convenient location to the trade show I was attending (7 min., across the street); however, next time, I will choose a more upscale property. As one of the staple properties in Vegas back in the 60s, this hotel and everything associated with it is, to say the best, "so-so". The... More

Now I would recommend not staying at this hotel. You pay for a resort fee which includes wifi but since I have been here I have yet to get any. Even other guests are complaining. Hence I can do any work. Upon arrival I was informed I was in a classic room....which means an older nastier room. So i upgraded.... More

There's no doubt that this hotel has a great history! The halls are lined with pictures of Stars who have stayed, played and entertained there in years past. I too, paid the extra $15 for the upgrade and just expected a little more. The room was clean and had a pretty good view, overlooking the pool. With the upgraded price... More
