I expected the Riv to be somewhat old and dumpy because of the amazing pricing on a deluxe king room (about $50). I was absolutely surprised to experience a beautiful room, great service and even welcoming smiles on arrival. The valet guys were super sweet, even when it got busy. I was here for the Rollercon convention, and there were... More

I booked through expedia and paid around 75$ for night. For 3 stars hotel they have all required service. And location amazing - right on strip street. Room was really old looking. But downstairs a lot of restrains.

We decided to go cheap on the room to have more money for playing and The Riviera was a great place to stay. It wasn't fancy but, hey, we only paid $17 a night! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I did my homework and already knew about things people on here complain about...resort fee, debit card hold, etc.... More

The rooms in the Monaco Tower were very accommodating, Although my room did not have a coffeemaker, the restaurants downstairs brewed a good cup of coffee. You could say, this hotel had everything you needed for your stay, restaurants, souvenir stores, bars, casinos, and even a tattoo parlor...not that I gave them any business!!

My friends and I visited Vegas during the NBA summer league. My friends opted to stay at the MGM for $100 a night while I opted to save as much money as possible and stayed at the Riviera. Service was good, my room was clean, there's a nice pool. I paid $35 a night (Travelocity) so I shouldn't complain but... More

I booked thru Groupon. I was told resort fee was $8, wrong it was $15.80per night. I was told no deposit because that's what I was looking for. Wrong again $100 and I still have not received my $100 deposit back after three weeks. Room was dirty, bathroom sink clogged, and dust on headboard & light switches. Was suppose to... More

Stayed there for 5 days, 4 nights. Took my boys, oldest getting married. Check in was easy and quick. It was a Tuesday. Later in week I observed very long lines. I assumed a very long wait but can't confirm. Overall not the best or the worst atmosphere, just kinda blah and pretty old. The rooms were clean and the... More

My husband and I went for 4 nights and this was one of the best trips we have had. The Riviera is not the Bellagio so those people that complain, go stay there. I slipped the Karl at the front desk $20.00 and got a room in the Monaco tower over looking the pool on the 17th floor (5716) Our... More

When I told friends I was going to the Riviera, most expressed sympathy. Old, ratty, out of date - these were some of the opinions. Not entirely untrue but there are saving graces along the way. The shadows - very busy, and not always geared to handle it. One night I didn't get maid service until after 6:30. No chairs... More
