OK. I gave it 4 stars, so I liked it, but I will nitpick. So I booked it thru the "pay now, find out the name later" system on Expedia & got a great deal. They couldn't guarantee the number of beds, but they did later promise 2 queen beds over the phone. I got there & guess what? Only... More

We had an excellent experience at the new Tropicana on our 4-day trip late last year. With its location at the end of the strip, it became a nice, convenient "home base" to come back to after a day and/or night in the heart of the action. We were upgraded to a bungalow, and our room was spacious and clean... More

Very disappointed Hilton decided to acquire this property as it falls short of its brand. Cons: Air Conditioner was not working in the room (middle of Summer in Vegas = well over 100 degrees). They changed my room after two days, the new room had plumbing issues. Bathtub and sinks did not drain. Called maintenance twice but issue was never... More

Bottom line the Tropicana did not disappoint! Stayed in a standard room, was clean with a nice view. The location is great and easy access to everything on the strip and the monorail. The service was great, easy check in and I had a package delivered to the hotel with no problems! Would defiantly stay here again.

We had three rooms, with 3 couples, booked for Saturday, July 26. These rooms were paid for in March,2014. When we arrived at the hotel, we were informed that the hotel had been overbooked, and we had our three PREPAID rooms taken away, and instead got a suite with two bedrooms, and two rollaway beds. Three couples, less privacy, and... More

We stayed in the paradise tower on the 15th floor overlooking the strip in a newly renovated room for two nights. The room was larger than expected and we were pleased they had a coffee maker and fridge. We had little noise from our neighbours considering our last night was a Friday and the hotel was fully booked. The hotel itself was clean... I am extremely critical when it comes to service and hotels. I usually stay in 5 star hotels... I was very skeptical about staying here but read several reviews beforehand which helped me make my final decision. Check in process took some time but I was completely satisfied with my room . I stayed for two nights. The service and... More

We, like many, had stayed away for years but had started to stay occasionally since the remodel. We just returned from a stay to celebrate my husband's 50th (my third stay since April). We had 8 friends travel with us and we all had EXCELLENT stays. We worked with our Casino Host to get reduced rates for our guests. My... More

The hotel is much smaller than the others and not many amenities. There's only a few restaurants and you certainly couldn't spend hours in the hotel as you could the others. The main disappointment is the service from the staff. Nobody was brilliant or made you feel "special" and some were actually really rude. The room wasn't cleaned every day... More

I stayed here for two nights in April 2014. The check-in experience was not brilliant as I was first in line but it somehow took 25 minutes to leave with my room key. Checking in each person seemed to take more than 10 minutes. The check-in agent let slip that she was having a discussion with a colleague over the... More
