If you have been to Las Vegas as many times as I have (since 1975) you may NOT want to stay at the very large "strip hotels" The Silverton Hotel is off the strip on the south end, on Blue Diamond Rd. I always stay their and rent a car. Its a top notch hotel in which you can come... More

I stayed at this hotel as it was the closest to the point of training taking place. I then decided to add the weekend. Hotel is average, clean and friendly like atmosphere. Only drawback, is the shuttle service....as it is off the strip there were shuttles available but not often enough. and Taxi's off the strip mean ordering them ahead... More

I really enjoyed my stay at the Silverton. The Cafe had very good, well-priced food with a very nice waitstaff. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Staff at the hotel was extremely gracious and hospitable. The bellman brought my bags and made certain I knew where to find everything in the room and the hotel. The... More

I stayed at the Silverton for the first time September 11-15, 2014. I really liked the Lodge décor, thought it carried the theme without being overdone. I found the dealers to be very friendly and helpful. I like the low limit tables that are available at all times. The rooms were good-sized and the beds were comfortable, although the bathrooms... We recently stayed here and still like this hotel but some things have changed. There are no longer mini-refrigerators in the rooms. This time we stayed in a first floor room and that is so much more convenient to casino and restaurants. Mi Casa still has very good food. So does Johnny Rockets and the buffet. And of course, the... Have you ever had to try and sleep on a military transport plane? Well, due to the air conditioning units in the rooms, you can have that experience. It's time for an upgrade. The small motel in St.George, Utah had a quieter unit as did another hotel in Vegas. In that hotel, the unit was in the room, as with... More

The good: Food selection on site was excellent and fairly priced. Twin Creeks is a Vegas hidden gem for out of towners, locals know about it. Entire staff on the entire property was pleasantly friendly but I sense they have complaints thrown there way about property is often. Now the bad and I'll just touch on some. Rooms dark and... More

We have visited Las Vegas 40+ times and stayed at numerous hotel/casinos. This was the first time at the Silverton. Having the BassPro shop attached to the casino was a plus. The store is a must. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Our room, although very clean, was showing signs of wear. Two of the three bathroom towel racks were... More

If you want a laid back place to stay in Las Vegas and still be close enough to get to the Strip, stay at the Silverton. It's got a hometown feel. Lodge like rooms. It's not sheer luxury, but we love the local feel of it. We've been going to Las Vegas for 29 years. We will stay here again.... More

Stayed at silverton for three nights . The rooms are starting to show their age but everything is clean and the beds are very comfortable. The people at this casino really make it shine , everyone seemed to work together to provide great customer service . We ate at the buffet which was fine , we've noticed most the buffets... More
