has easy access to the strip by shuttle. The rooms are "ok", no frills but pleasant. Casino is good and accommodation (bowling alley, theater, restaurants)are numerous. Worth the stay for the price. Overall, I enjoyed and would recommend. Lots of smokers though if that is an issue for you. Plenty of stores as well. Like the food court with lower... More

My hotel of choice when I go to Vegas is the Orleans. Close to the Strip but with a lot less traffic, well still lots of traffic but not the insanity of the Strip. I selected one of the upgraded rooms and I sure was happy that I spent the extra money, the Strip view was gorgeous, I was on... More

I visited in the middle of the week in September. I was able to check-in quickly and get an upgrade (higher floor, better view) and the room WAS spacious and clean. If you're a fan of toiletries, the three bottles(shampoo, condidtioner and lotion) they give you are better than average. The room itself is 5 out of 5. No complaints... More

Everyone was very friendly and went out of their way to say hello. Some places, the staff barely make eye contact. The rooms were very clean, large, nicely appointed. It is off the strip but they have a shuttle to get you there but we always rent a car so it is not an issue anyhow. The daily buffet is... More

The hotel is off the strip on Tropicana about 2 miles, They have two shuttles, one goes to the strip and arrives at Tropicana Casino and the second shuttle goes to their sister Casino, Gold Coast We stayed on the 12th floor, excellent view of the strip. The room is about 600 square ft and a decent size bathroom with... More

NIce place to stay, clean, rooms nice and clean, good amenities which include a fitness center, and they have daily giveaways and events for the guests to participate in to win cash and/or prizes. They treat guests well there. Aloha, regular Hawaii customers. Hanapa'a Hui

Although known as a "locals " place the Orleans can be a great place for out of towners. Casino rates are very good and even regular rates are OK. Decent selection of restaurants, table games and entertainment. Slots are getting a bit dated and a heavy influence of video poker. Cocktail Service usually very good especially if you get into... The advantage of the Orleans is the price (tho I, like others, resent thr "resort fee'"), and the convevient shuttle (only had to wait 20 min once). What I did't like was the lack of a room fridge, noisy fan, early closing time of the pool, the bouncy and loud pool music that makes it impossible to relax, no green... More

I cannot understand the reviewer who said the wifi didn't work anyplace in hotel. My Ipad works just fine throughout the hotel. I've also never had any of the staff at check-in treat me with a who cares attitude, theyve always been most accomodating when I ask for room closer to elevator and on lower floor. Also the gift shop... More
