This is my third time staying, its downtown which I perfer. Its right the freeway. Rooms have been up dated, the buffet is GREAT its been voted the best in 2013. Located by other casinos, the walk is not like a hike.

A great hotel to stay in downtown Las Vegas. Easy to find and just off the highway. We really like the comforatable clean rooms and very quiet. Parking is always available and a short walk to the hotel. Check in is also very quick and our favorite place to eat is the triple 7 restaurant. The staff is excellent and... More

I stayed at MSS from Sept 7 - 13 in room 1701. The room was clean and everything worked fine. The room was kept clean and I had no issues during my stay. The casino is small, but nice. I won $200 with four aces on video poker, $130 on a penny slot machine. The Garden Court Buffet is very... More

This was our first stay at MSS but will not be our last. This downtown casino hotel has unforgettable decor. We stayed in a king non smoking room on the freeway side. There is constant freeway noise (which did not bother us) but if that type of noise bothers you should ask for a room away from the freeway. The... More

About 18 years ago we followed A pit boss ( Jay Lipman ) from Laughlin NV to Vegas. Boyd group had sold the Sams Town Gold River and I could not find my good friend Jay. We found Jay finaly at the MSS and we started staying there.. We continued staying there because of the staff they hire there. The... More

We have stayed here in the past and enjoyed our stay. Very comforable rooms and the employees are very friendly. Love the stained glass windows and looking at the old slot machines on display. It just is nicely done. You won't be dissappointed....

We spent 3 nights @ Main Street Station Hotel & Casino. Our first room assigned hadn't been cleaned yet. The desk clerk gave us the wrong room. The porter was very helpful in getting our new room for us and delivering our luggage. The room was large, expressway & airport noise was occasionally loud in early morning. The room was... More

Stayed one night. Hotel is convenient to the strip by shuttle or taxi. AAA price was $90 and the front desk was very accommodating. The am buffet was pretty good, solid brunch choices if you look. They also have champaign to make mimosas. They would have been better in a champaign flute instead of a Pepsi tumbler.

I love the glitz and glamour of the strip. But if you are ready for something more laid back I recommend Main Street. This is a relatively small casino tucked away on the edge of the old downtown, or Fremont Street, area, within walking distance of all the other downtown casinos and restaurants. Main Street has a victorian theme-loads of... More
