I've been staying at the Main Street Station since it converted from Rosie O'Grady's. The casino staff have always been very friendly (Ipo is my casino host). Although the casino is small compared to the casinos on the strip, there are more than enough machines and tables to keep you busy. Watch the crap tables. If it is loud and... More

My wife and I just love Main Street Station Hotel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas. The hotel is so ornate, brass, stained glass, true elegance from a bygone era. A great caring, friendly, attentive staff. Clean comfortable rooms with great pillows. Two great restaurants including Manny who makes the best fresh omelet for a great morning breakfast. Main Street... More

We have stayed at a lot of hotels in Vegas. Four have been downtown and 4 on the strip. This hotel is quite the value for your money. What we spent there for 7 nights is probably comparable to 2 - 3 nights elsewhere. The rooms were clean and spacious. You are close to the Freeway and railroad tracks but... More

Older casino hotel, well managed. The rooms are good sized and very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Brew pub on site, great Friday nite seafood buffet. Easy check in. Easy access to the Fremont Experience and old time Vegas with an ability to easily get away from it, too.

I will start with the positive, the food and beer was good. The room was ok but dirty, the ceilings, vents, etc were in desperate need of cleaning. The casino left a lot to be desired. At the roulette table, the screen was broken and we were informed it had been that way for a couple of months. They also... More

We requested an upper floor with connecting rooms and they delivered! The rooms are spacious and very nice. The decor in the hotel lobby is wonderful, beautiful antiques, tin ceilings. (They have an antiques room upstairs) It looks just like an old train depot! All the workers were helpful and friendly. The buffet was a wonderful breakfast, you have to... More

We are seniors who eloped to LV and spent our honeymoon here. This hotel is neat/clean and our non-smoking room was very nice and spacious. I would advise requesting a room on higher floors so the train noise does not disrupt your sleep. This however, did not bother us as we are early risers. We did have a mini frig... More

Since 1997 we've made 3 or 4 trips a year from Ohio to Las Vegas, each a week in length. Of those, we've stayed at MSS 37 times. There are several reasons we prefer MSS: -The entire staff is extremely friendly, competent, and helpful. -There is a good selection of video poker with decent pay tables. -The food in both... More

Spent 3 nights and 4 days, June13-16, 2014 at Main Street Station Hotel and Casino. I decided to stay here after reading the good reviews. I was not disappointed. The rooms were spacious and clean. We requested two quiet rooms, upper floors and facing the strip and Fremont Street. We were on the (top) 17th floor, corner room. We heard... More

This was the first time I stayed in Downtown Las Vegas. We stayed at the Mainstreet from 6/8 - 6/13/14. We had a room with 2 queen size beds on the 12th floor. Pros: -Rooms are quite large and the bathroom is a decent size. -Beds were comfy, flat screen tv, mini fridge -Good price -Connected walkway to the California... More
