We have not stayed but have been to the buffet 3 times. Great price about $12 a person and good food. The Decor of the hotel and restaurant are very lovely and nice staff. If you are looking for a buffet for option this is the place to go!

We usually visit Las Vegas around November 23rd, that's our anniversary. We've been coming here since I retired from the US Army about 20 years ago.We always stay at the Boyd properties, California or Main Street Station. Everything is sort of centrally located and easy access. Main Street is my favorite for Video Poker and Slots. Winnings are pretty good... More

If you're not planning to hit the strip a lot, this is a laid back hotel to stay at. The slots are said to be looser in downtown Vegas. However, the downtown side as a whole does need a makeover. It's pretty dingy in some of the areas. The Mainstreet hotel is pretty decent though. I won $1,000. on the... More

I've been visiting Las Vegas for the past 35 years and have been staying at downtown hotels, but have had Main Street Station as my home Casino. The way they treat you as a guest and just the atmosphere keeps me coming back. I've stayed at the Strip Hotels a few times, but don't have the hospitality that Mainot Street... More

The room was spacious and functional. In-room refrigerator is a bonus. Easy to walk to Fremont Street Experience (indoors via the bridge to/through the California Casino.)The hotel wasn't perfect, but the annoyances were minor. There was highway noise, which was covered up pretty well by the white noise of the heating / AC system. There was also a freight train... More

Stay here if you love the old train station feel, lots of beautiful old woodwork, antiques and a great buffet. It is just a block or two from the Fremont Street experience. Parking is easy and free. The rooms are fine, but a little worn looking. No coffee maker in the room. Small fridge was nice. Beds were comfortable. My... More

Just returned from a 3 night stay with my family. This was a perfect location for us. Easy safe walk to the Fremont Experience and the room was very clean. Beds and pillows were amazing. I will definitely stay here again on a return visit.

No glam or glitz at this hotel but very clean and reasonable in price. The staff is very friendly, the hotel is safe and it is very close to the downtown Freemont Experience. The great thing about this hotel is that the casino is easy to access from the hotel and the street. Plenty of fun here.

The hotel is well appointed and the rooms are clean and very comfortable. Being right on the road it was however quite noisy early in the morning. The casino is dated and dark, the dealers were friendly but the floor management and security are an absolute disgrace and do not understand the meaning of service. I cannot recommend this establishment... More
