I feel compelled to write a review because there have been so many bad reviews of this place and I think some are unwarranted. If you want 5 star service, go to a luxury resort. If you are looking for somewhere to put your stuff and lay your head at night, the Flamingo is a fine place. We booked with... More

Stayed here from May 15-19. Had a room in the older section because it was booked online for the cheapest price I could find. Asked about an executive level room durring checkin but wanted $40 per night to "upgrade" so wasn't worth it. Room wasn't ready upon arrival or at 3pm when they said it would be. However they just... At first glance it seems pretty small and dated from the street, but the Flamingo is actually pretty nice in the casino and the outside grounds. That being said, unless you upgrade to one of their overpriced Go Rooms, you'll be happy its Vegas and you don't spend much time in the room. Our rooms weren't as 'dated' as some... More

This is a very storied hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, with one of the best locations & best pools in all of Vegas. The room rate of $35.00/night has not been seen in about 20 years, but this is for an older, unremodeled room. They will try to upsell you to one of the remodeled view rooms for an... More

Stayed from May 18th-23rd and we arrived late on Tueday night, looked for an upgrade but none were available at that time, she said try back in the morning. Next day we went down and we were offered an upgrade to a "Go Room" for $40.00 a night per room (we had 2 rooms) so we took that. The room... More

There are so many hotels in Las Vegas that we had a hard time deciding which would suit us. We chose the Flamingo and we did not regret it. The Go Rooms were great, not too big, but roomy enough. The hotel is very well located, right in the middle of the Strip, which suited us just fine. The pool... More

Have stayed in Harrahs properties for over ten years, and this was the first visit to Flamingo since the Harrahs sale to private owners. The hotel is obviously having financial problems and they have cut stafff to the bone. It took nearly forty minutes to check in, with only five check in stations open and manned (line was around the... More

We stayed here for a wedding, against our better judgement. Booked a GO room, but when we checked in (of course, after standing in a very long line to do so), my king had turned into two queens instead. They said they had none available, but to their credit they were able to put us on the quiet side, away... More

I have travelled to vegas before, this being a first time for my partner i chose the flamingo hotel for the location on the strip...big mistake!!! Upon arrival we were given a smoking room, with 2 queen beds and furniture that was most disgusting as it was dirty, the fabric on the chairs was well worn away, filthy bathroom food left in the mini... The older part of the hotel has old rooms with a little wear and tear (peeling wallpaper, unplugged lamp missing bulb, tube TV, worn carpeting, etc.), but my older room was clean and very comfortable. The view over the habitat and pools was gorgeous. Check-in was fast and friendly. All employees were pleasant and helpful throughout the property. Two of... More

From the newly designed GO Rooms to a wealth of dining and entertainment choices, Flamingo proves "fabulous is forever." With classic Las Vegas style and flair, it continues to be one of the Strip’s most-visited resort destinations. Outside, guests enjoy acres of waterfalls, winding pools and lush foliage at the Lagoon Pool and Wildlife Habitat. For adults, the GO Pool is the destination for an afternoon of relaxation. Inside, enjoy performances ranging star siblings Donny & Marie to comedians George Wallace and Vinnie Favorito. Afternoon frivolity is found at Nathan Burton’s Comedy Magic while adult fun is staged nightly at X Burlesque, the Topless Review. Diners can enjoy go tropical at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville or simply go all out at the Paradise Garden Buffet. Flamingo is also the home of the world's first Margaritaville Casino, a Parrothead paradise straight out of a Jimmy Buffett album. For those on the go, the new Flamingo Food Court hosts a variety of eateries from the all-American menu at Johnny Rockets to a taste of the Orient at Pan Asian Express. ... more   less
