We booked the Flamingo for 5 nights in May..upgraded to a GO room as my wife is a bit of a clean freak and looking back that was definitely a wise choice as she would not have been happy in the basic rooms. Basic rooms were old, out dated, and definitely in need of an upgrade but the views were... More

I took my 2 adult kids to Vegas for fun. We liked the location of the Flamingo on the strip. The hotel/casino is older so we had concerns regarding the rooms. We booked a new GO room with a strip view. From the 24th floor we saw the top of Caesars, The Plams and Rio. Room itself was cheap, small... More

Stayed in a "go room" with a breathtaking view of the strip. The room was fabulous, but the housekeeping left something to be desired

I was scared after reading the reviews! But we found the flamingo very nice. We were upgraded to a mini suite. It's not fancy but it was slightly larger than a regular room. The only downside was the carpets truly need replacing. We saw a few smushed-in things in ours. The go rooms were nice we saw one but they... More

My friend and I stayed at the Flamingo in a Go-Room (Thank you Trip Advisor -- because of your previous reviews, she knew to reserve a Go-Room! BUT, you should reserve one right away, and not hope that you'll be upgraded as it said in some reviews...all of the Go-Rooms were taken when we got there!) for Thursday, Friday, Saturday... More

The Flamingo is in an excellent location on the Vegas strip. However, the hotel is definitely seeing some wear. The GO rooms were remodeled several years ago, and they are not nearly as nice as they were. The hallway carpets are very dirty as well as the elevator floors. The same dirt in the elevators from day 1 to day... More

Pros: Great location in the middle of the Strip. It's expensive to take taxis everywhere, so it's nice to be able to walk to so many places. King room was the size of a small suite with a couch, comfy chair and desk. Good food on site had decent prices (compared to the rest of the Strip, but expensive for... More

In July, my friend and I spent 3 days/nights in Vegas, and stayed @ The Flamingo. We stayed here because there was a great sale on, which worked out to about $50 CAD per night, with NO resort fees (unlike all the MGM properties, who always charge $20 or more per night in addition to the room rate and taxes).... We chose Flamingo thanks to the wonderful comps we got in an email; otherwise, we would have stayed somewhere else. Thanks to reading the hundreds of reviews we knew what to expect and were not surprised. We were booked into a deluxe room and it was exactly like the room we stayed in 10 years ago; nothing had changed! For... More
