There are over 2,300 reviews posted here, so I will have to agree with most recent comments. Are the rooms older? Yes (Standard Rooms). Mine was clean and comfortable with an excellent view, and I got to visit a friend's GO Room. Very fun, and complete with 21st century video and sound systems. Worth the extra $40/night, but I decided... More

To be fair, there were some good points to our 3-night, 4 days stay at the Flamingo- The location on the Strip is excellent, the price of the rooms was reasonable, and the employees in the hotel and restaurants were always very pleasant and helpful. That said, the rooms were very shabby; stained carpeting, stained bedspreads, a bathroom so small... More

I made a reservation with Expedia and got a coupon book. It was around $ 40 and fortunately I got upgrade a suite room (we arrived around midnight, I guess that's why we got it). It was super~. Actually I stayed next day at Venetian delux room but this one is better that Venetia. Of course don't compare to flamingo... More

I was very sceptic of staying at the Flamingo after reading the reviews, however, I had a positive experience and would recommend to anyone in my age range (mid 20's)looking to stay on a budget. Pros: In the middle of the action of the strip. Pool area gets crowded, but a lot of fun. Taxi line was never too long. The... More

We stayed at the Flamingo September 24th and 25th. I like being center strip and the hotel was nice. The room was clean. We had a go room on the 17th floor. The only thing I HATED about the room was the air conditioning was sensored. So if you are sleeping and don't move the air doesn't come on. COME... More

We found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. The housekeeping staff were very accommodating and helpful We had a clean room with extra towels - always important. The casino was very nice as well. I would stay here again when I go back to Vegas.

I decided to surprise my husband with a trip to Vegas for his birthday. Friends of ours decided to come and join us for the week. This being our first time in Vegas we were naturally excited, that was until we checked into our room. At first glance, I found myself somewhat disappointed. The room did not resemble the pictures... They really need to implode this rat trap of a hotel and start over. It started when I walked into the dated lobby and continued all the way through to the dated hallways and to the wallpaper peeling from the wall room. I think the Harrah's group has gotten too big in Vegas and the staffing and upkeep is not... More

LIke real estate agents always say, "Location, location, location"....you can't beat the Flamingo for being in the center of all the action on the Strip. My husband and I traveled with two friends who are experienced Vegas visitors. Our "Vegas experts" also agreed the Flamingo is great place and bargain! We stayed in regular deluxe king room and we were... More

From the newly designed GO Rooms to a wealth of dining and entertainment choices, Flamingo proves "fabulous is forever." With classic Las Vegas style and flair, it continues to be one of the Strip’s most-visited resort destinations. Afternoon frivolity is found at Nathan Burton’s Comedy Magic while adult fun is staged nightly at X Burlesque, the Topless Review. Diners can enjoy go tropical at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville or simply go all out at the Paradise Garden Buffet. Flamingo is also the home of the world's first Margaritaville Casino, a Parrothead paradise straight out of a Jimmy Buffett album.
