We've stayed at the Flamingo for about 15 years and we love it. The location is great,the pool is the best and the food is very good. We love the view of the fountains, the casino is great and the shows are very good. We like to visit near-by casinos but the Flamingo will always be our home base.

Spent 5 days at the Flamingo with my fiance: Check in at the airport, if your flying US Air you'll have a long wait for your luggage anyway. I like this place because of its location and generally reasonable prices. It's not a luxury hotel, but has enough upscale characteristics to feel like an attractive place to stay. From unloading the luggage to checking out, with a couple of exceptions in the staff, indifference, incompetence, and a general adverse response from the desk staff are the norm here these days.
