I stayed for 5 nights in a Carson Tower room,i can not fault this hotel in any way, rooms large , clean , serviced daily to a high standard. Hotel pool is a dream , although it gets crowded but its open till 2 am , so nothing nicer after enjoying the hotel buffet to sit around the pool on... More

We usually stays at the Vegas strip hotels but decided we give Golden Nugget downtown a try since I saw some photos of their "Tank pool" with sharks and big fishes on the internet which is unusual in the Desert, but of course anything is possible in Vegas. I booked a room at the Carson tower since there was a... More

We arrived late at night and were upgraded to the new Rush Tower. We have almost always stayed at the Golden Nugget when in Las Vegas. However, the last time we were there the Rush Tower wasn't even in the works. The rooms were modern, spacious and comfortable. The air conditioning system was a good as any hotel room we've... More

Stayed at the GN Carson Tower Room 5/3/12-5/7/12. We paid the upcharge for the King no smoking room since I am big and it was worth it. The room was nice, the A/C worked well and the service was good. Ate at the Carson Street cafe one (late night) and the nachos were really good. Two of our card dealers... More

I usually stay at the Hilton Hotel located on Paradise. Unfortunatly Hilton Hotels did not renew there lease at this particular location so I thought I would try something a little different. The Golden Nugget in "Old Las Vegas" was more then I expected. The downside of this hotel was that checking in was lengthy. There are about 3-4 places... More

I hadn't stayed at the Nugget in over 10 years. I was amazed at the changes that had transpired. Lets start with the pool. It is an gigantic fish aquarium in the center of the pool. Has a slide that goes through the center and unloads you like a beached whale on the opposite side. Pool area is a bit... More

I stayed in the Rush Tower, which is the newer tower, and thought it was one of the coolest hotel rooms I'd ever stayed in. It was the base room, too. Very modern and had a great view of Vegas (though the strip besides the Stratosphere was blocked). Bed was VERY comfortable, with clean white duvet and fluffy pillows. Every... More

This was my fourth trip to Vegas but my first time downtown. I wasn't quite sure what to expect but we were very happy with the Golden Nugget. We stayed in the Carson Tower which is an older tower but our room was roomy and beautiful. It was very clean and check-in and out were quick. The pool was great... More

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at the Golden Nugget and both times were in the Carson Tower...needs some updating, yet overall I prefer being away from the casino and Fremont activity when resting is the goal. I would stay there again, and honestly making the decision of moving from the strip to downtown was not comfortable...the strip... More
