I booked directly thru the hotel; calling them to inquire whether they gave any discount for military (and they did, 10% I believe). I booked a room for Saturday and Sunday of the long MLK holiday and it was a very good price, about $70 dollars a night with the aforementioned discount. When I arrived in midafternoon there was no... More

We stayed here from 11th January to 14th January 2012. What a great hotel , with every amenity you could want. The staff were excellent and could not be more helpful. We will definitely be going back More

What a great experience! The Rush Tower is on the back side of the Golden Nugget property. It has it's own valet parking, lobby area and check-in staff. No long waits to check-in, even during peak check-in times. Self park is right across from the entrance and easy to access. I have stayed here both for pleasure and on business... More

We made our annual holiday trip To Las Vegas for the dates of December 27th thru the 31st. I made reservations for our party aged mid fifties to mid seventies for a two bedroom suite in the gold tower months before our arrival. We originally wanted to stay there the entire time , but indecision by the Nugget on releasing... More

Maybe 20+ years ago Downtown "was" the place to be in Las Vegas & as with all things time moves on as does Vegas. I was in the city for CES (Consumer Electronics Show 2012) the positive thing was that the hotel by all accounts did not raise its prices as others were 5-6+ times their normal price, which helped... We booked our trip on Priceline from 12/1 to 12/6 staying at the Golden Nugget staying in Carson Towers. This was our second time staying at the Nugget and I felt like the room was just as nice as the last visit it was very large and clean and bed was really comfortable. I was really impressed with the hotel... More

Sunday - Thrusday, Early Jan. 2012. Dislikes: Although there is a K cup coffee brewer in the room, if you open the K cup 4 pack, there is a $10 charge. The bottle of Fiji water in the room costs $7. $12.99 per day per computer for Internet. Go to the Krispy Kreme coffee shop at the Fitz for free... More

We went to Vegas for a poker tournament, stayed in the Carson Tower (Room 1256) and had a great time! As my spouse is a smoker, we had a smoking room. The bonus here was that the windows actually opened! The room was quiet, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Another reviewer recommended the VIP check in for $25... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Golden Nugget and loved being downtown instead of on the Strip. We travelled to the Strip one day to sight see and have dinner but were able to walk out the door of our hotel and go anywhere in the downtown Fremont St. area. It was great having several live bands every night of... More
