Even though it is not on the strip......it is right at Fremont St, which is a fantastic laser light show on every hour at night. As far as hotels go in Vegas, the Golden Nugget is excellent value. Great for families or couples and has a really cool swimming pool with a shark tank in the middle and a tubular... More

We stayed in a Gold Club Luxury room. Gorgeous. Comfy bed, key card access to our floor and a table of goodies ( fruit/ sweets and drinks) as you get off the lift. Close to all activities Freemont Street has to offer.

we were in the carson tower, room was ok. bed was excellent. only real problem I had was it could have been more handicap friendly. to get in to the nugget on a scooter, and you valet you must go around the side of building then go down a employee hallway to get into the nugget. once in trying to... Stayed here in July, it's a great hotel, really smart, clean and tidy. The staff are great, I lost my room keys one night and they helped me get back into my room. The pool area is great, you can relax and enjoy the sun in the pool and if you get to hot just jump onto a blackjack table.... More

I decided to use the Golden Nugget as base camp for a recent trip to go check out the dwindling water levels at Lake Mead/Hoover Dam, and to go hiking at Red Rock Canyon and the Valley of Fire. Not to also mention better playing conditions overall in downtown. I was placed on the 22nd floor of the Carlson towers... More

We stayed for a week in the Gold Club rooms in the Rush Tower of the Golden Nugget. Aside from a musty smell by the air conditioner that you get used to, the rooms and service you get with these kind of rooms was excellent. The added extras like no charge for WiFi and free snacks and bottled water were... More

Great hotel.. was a little skeptical at first due to receptionist at front desk during check in being annoyed with guests. She was not welcoming at all, it made me feel uncomfortable. Overall staff was great! Food was amazing along with the pool, gambling is great also! Rooms are a perfect size, cleaning staff did great also. Enjoyed my stay... More

That said, I prefer the strip. If you like the downtown experience though, this would be the place to stay. Pretty good food, plenty of free parking in their garage, convenient to the street, and one of the best shows in the city...Gordie Brown is FANTASTIC! I have seen his show 5 times and have enjoyed it every time. They... More

had a very bad experience with the staff, our room which was reserved in months in advance was not available. the credit card was charged more than the stated amount. The price looks attractive but it is not worth the trouble. rather spend 20 dollar extra and stay in one of the hotels by the strip. Lot of bad gentry... More

Vic and Anthony's served up great food as usual! Wonderful spa experience and our massage was great! The only down thing was check in through concierge was not as quick and easy as trips in the past. Our suite that we had booked several months in advance through our host was not available and our check in was delayed by... More
