On arrival we initially felt so far away from "the strip" but downtown has a a more cosy feel. We upgraded in the Nugget to a Gold Deluxe and the room did not disappoint.. Big room, clean, huge comfy bed. We didn't make use of the facilities at the hotel, as we prefer to explore. Our only disappointment was the... More

We have visited the Casino before but have not stayed the night before until last week. We found the staff very friendly and welcoming and the room we stayed in was very nice. We arrived at the hotel at 8:05 in the morning and the check in line wasn't very long they had a room ready I did inquire if... More

My husband and I have stayed at the Golden Nugget several times. It has everything one could need for a fun get away. We stay at the Carson Tower, which is not remodeled. But the room is very large and the bed very comfortable with free wifi. They have eight elevators in that tower and we never waited long to get... More

Stayed here for two nights with our kids (13, 11, 9). This was one of several stops on our tour of the southwest U.S. The property was clean. Check-in on a Wednesday evening was long; about 25 minutes. Our room was on the 3rd floor in the Carson Tower. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. We ate dinner at... More

I recently visited the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas. Had a wonderful time and enjoyed my stay until......I received a $90.40 charge on my credit card. I contacted the hotel and was told this is for water, coffee and WI-FI that I DID NOT TOUCH in my room. At $3.00 a bottle for water, $10.00 for a pot of coffee... More

I stayed here for my anniversary. We wanted to stay away from the strip. The rooms are comfortable. The swimming pool is really nice. It has a shark tank in the middle and a slide that goes thru it.. If you want to gamble a little, it has some tables by the pool. There's a few restaurants to eat at... More

We stayed 6 nights in the Carson Tower, the least expensive offering at the Golden Nugget, and it was fine. Larger than many hotel rooms, clean, comfortable. We enjoyed the mountain view. Everything worked correctly, which is not always the case in hotel rooms. When we return to Las Vegas, we will likely return to the Carson tower. It is... More

We have stayed here numerous times. This was another in a list of satisfying stays at the golden nugget. We like Freemont street better than the strip. Everyone here was friendly and nice, like usual. The room was clean. There really is nothing about the golden nugget we don't enjoy, except I wish the pool was kept a little warmer.... More

This last week we stayed at the Golden Nugget and couldn't be happier. We always stay at Harrahs Properties but no longer. We stayed in the Rush Tower which was super clean, you couldn't smell smoke, bed and sheets were perfect. Loved the bathroom. Everything very modern. Kreuig Coffee maker! Very pleased and can't wait till our next trip.

When you think about any hotel downtown, for most 20 somethings at least, its not ideal. You want to be on the Strip, in the heat of the action. "All of the hotels downtown are old and smell like smoke" they say. They couldn't be more wrong. The Golden Nugget is a breath of fresh air. We had two adjoining... More
