I have stayed at the Golden Nugget numerous times over the years. I was very disappointed when I heard they added a resort fee. We always stay in the rush tower and they said the resort fee was for the wifi, newspaper and water. I already pay for data on my phone, no need for wifi. The news also is on... More

The hotel was more than helpful. The hotel said that the booking company just needed to forward the portfolio change. "THEY SHOULD CHANGE IT FOR YOU THEY KNOW THIS". But the booking company decided to fall back on there statement "its a non changeable reservation" Great I'll avoid them. Keep the $90 bucks

I didn't actually stay at the golden nugget but on Pinterest, I had seen the water slide through an aquarium and had to check it out. I called in advance to see if non-guests could use the pool and slide and was told yes but $25 per person. I took my friend's 11 year old daughter with me on the... More

I stayed at the nugget before but not in the rush tower. Dont stay in the rush tower if you are a light sleeper. Because the music on Fremont street will be playing until 2:00a.m according to the front desk. Also bring your own pillows because my jacket is a better pillow.

Have stayed there since 1997 on and off. The last three times I stayed, Dec. 2014, Jan 2015 and June 2015 were not good experiences. The dealers I had didn't smile, didn't seem to care at all about being there. Someone stole one of my tickets that I had cashed out of a slot machine right out of the chair... More

If you happen to be around the Freemont Street in downtown Las Vegas, you need to stop by for the daily buffet at The Golden Nugget Hotel. It's the best value for money you can get in the entire area! You also have a very wide variety of food to choose from. I couldn't stay out once I stumbled into... More

I had a five star experience at the buffet over looking the Swimming pool and seeing the fish swim in the aquarium and people swimming. Not forgetting to mention the nice little water fall that people were swimming under. In fact, I booked two days today for Nov of this year to swim and eat of course. I don't gamble... More

It takes a 5 / 5.30 hour ride to get to Las Vegas from Los Angeles . You will share the motorway to Nevada with brand new motorcycles and long and large trucks . One feels the change when the landscape changes to dry pale soil and we notice we are stepping in the desert . On the way you... More

My husband and I traveled to Las Vegas for a family member's wedding. We bought our hotel room through Priceline.com. We arrived in Vegas at 1AM and went straight to our hotel. When we got there we found out our room had been given away to a family member with his same first and last name... The lady checking us... More

Room was clean and modern, beds were comfortable, wish there was a mini fridge though. Mid week hotel rates were great. Spent most of our time at the pools, which were fantastic! Kids and adults had a great time. Adult pool was not very spectacular, spent most time at the shark tank pool. Hotel lets you keep room key if... More
