VIP check-in desk was available when I arrived and I was beckoned over to avoid the small queue at the main check-in. A completely different energy to the Strip locations. Less haste, more laid back, open and chatty tourists. Stayed in a Rush Tower room which was a little dark with a small (compared to newer Strip properties) window. Quality... More

The hotel rooms are spacious and really clean.Appreciated the coupons for the buffet. We used them for the breakfast buffet they have a great selection. One can eat a variety of foods that are quite healthy and it was really delicious. We have visited Vegas many times and have usually stayed on the strip this location is great . We would... More

We stayed in the rush tower. The room was 3 stars above all other rooms we've stayed in downtown Las Vegas (although I've never stayed at 'The Grand'). The bed was the highlight... so comfortable, we got some of the best nights sleep we've had in months. The entire rush tower is non-smoking and has it's own valet & check-in,... More

stayed for three nights with family. pre-paid room and taxes, but additional fees on checking out. Wifi $12.99 for 24hrs and coffee in room $10 for four sachets. Pool great but some customers smoking pot at pool side. Front of desk staff unhelpful and unfriendly. Although room size good and beds comfy, for a short stay was Ok.

If you are looking for a location close to Freemont street this is the place to stay! The casino was fun and I ended up winning 40 dollars from my first slot machine. The rooms are clean. The view was okay. There was a lot of construction our window. Housekeeping did a great job. Will stay here again!

This hotel is in a fabulous location especially if gambling is not a priority. Stayed in the Rush Tower which was modern, super clean and quiet. Nice pool areas which do get busy early. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Couple of minutes walk from Deuce & Express bus stops which takes your to strip and shopping outlets. This hotel... More

My husband and I stayed at the Golden Nugget in the Rush Tower for 1 night this last week. The room was very reasonably priced (especially for Vegas) and was very nice. The Rush Tower seems to be the more updated of all the rooms at the Golden Nugget. Check in was very easy, and the hotel did not seem... More

I've stayed at the Golden Nugget dozens of times over the years, most frequently in the less expensive, Carson tower. The Carson tower rooms are very good-far better than most of the other downtown hotel choices. This time I treated myself to a junior suite in the Rush tower which is still pretty new (3-4years old?). The room was very... More

Just got back from staying at the Golden Nugget. It was my first time at the old part of Vegas, Freemont Street. The room was okay, with the staff being very friendly. I could complain about small things like non-smoking room and it stunk like smoke...a/c leaked water into the carpet in front of it...(Which was quickly attempted at cleaning)... More
