We have stayed at this hotel on several trips. I think thiis by far, this is one of the best hotels in downtown Las Vegas. The pool is the best you will find in downtown. The rooms are clean and very nicely furnished (even in the Carson tower). My only complaint is with checkin. They always seem to be under... More

I have stayed in 5star hotels on the strip before & wanted to try something different this time.. I am extremely happy I chose the GN. Its clean, the decor is updated, the staff is amazing & the pool area is beautiful, you must go see the sharks. We ordered room service which is 24 hours a few times and... More

My wife and I stayed here with two other couples. While the hotel was fine and clean, this was my first time staying downtown and I think I like staying on the Strip much better. We ended up taking cabs to the the Strip all weekend. One advantage is you can find lower minimum tables downtown. The room was fine... More

Stayed in the Carson Tower + = room was quite spacious & very comfortable king bed - = aspects of the room show their age (especially the bathroom), walls very thin (hear ppl talking in the next room) & bring kcups if you want coffee ($10 for 4) Had bad experiences with staff while playing at the card tables (very... We have staye at the GN many times always in the Carson tower. We had read some reviews where people claimed that they were letting the Carson tower rooms go downhill... I disagree. Still a great value for a beautiful comfortable big room and nice bathroom. We will always go back, great hotel, great service at the front desk too...... More

We stayed at the Golden Nugget for 2 nights just before the memorial weekend in the classic room. It was very clean and we had a lot of space. Very happy with the room. The parking is also good because it's right there very close to your room. The swimming pool is nice and the aquarium is impressive. But the... More

I received an email for special rates during the summer. I followed what the email stated but found "no available rooms". After checking several times over several days I thought "maybe I should call just in case." Much to my surprise the representative (who was very nice) stated "we have many rooms." I made reservations and just happen to take... More

This our 3rd time staying at the Golden Nugget. We have stayed in The Rush Tower, Carson Tower and Gold delux but by far the Rush Towet is the best. You have your own valet and check in counter. The rooms are clean and big with comfortable beds. Love the big shower and bathroom. I've read many people's reviews about... More

Came in for bike week, reservations clearly made for nonsmoking room. they over booked the rooms would not honor my paid non smoking reservation unless I was willing to pay more per night & they could only guarantee one room one night.  We took the smoking room ended up with the worst smelling room ever. Next day moved us to... More
