Just spent two nights at the Gold Coast getting a great deal on the night of the Mayweather fight on the 13th. It is a sprawling property and hard to find your way around or out the front door. The casino is also very smoky. That said, we were pleasantly surprised with our room. It was large with modern decor.... More

I made a reservation at this Hotel for Sept 5 - 7 thru Expedia. The individual accepted/verified the reservation and asked for my credit card to handle the resort fee. I checked out early Sunday, Sept 7 on the TV. Two weeks later, Sept 18, I noticed a shortage in funds on my banking statement. Upon further investigation, Gold Coast... More

We attend a clothing convention at the Rio twice a year and discovered Gold Coast several years ago. By being part of their players club, we get 2 free nights during the summer and a $30 something price for the third night. The restaurants, particularly TGIFridays and the buffet also are a great value. A free shuttle to the strip... More

Friends suggested we try the buffet at the Gold Coast, we had never been there before. We were very surprised at the size of the casino and we went on a Friday which is prime rib and crab night. Get your players card before heading to buffet and save yourself $5.00 on the buffet, there is a huge selection ,lots... More

The Gold Coast seems more like a place for locals being out a short ways from the Strip. There is a free shuttle running every 30-minutes which takes you to the Orleans hotel-casino and then to Bally’s hotel-casino on the Strip. Being more for the Vegas locals, the tables games start at $5 and the restaurants are cheaper. Great place... More

The best thing about the Gold Coast is the Liquor store/Gift shop. We were staying at the Rio and would venture over for the inexpensive liquor and beer (but first sign up for a loyalty card at the Gold Coast and get 10% off you liquor and beer!) Otherwise, the Gold Coast has quite the different clientele than other casinos... More

This is an old Vegas property but it has been extensively renovated and is a great bargain for the area. The only real "issue" I had with it is that their ventilation system is not all that great and after you left the room and went into the main casino area, including the restaurants, the smoke was a bit too... Stayed here for two nights over this recent Labor weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and satisfied , all things considered. One night was complimentary and the other was a mere $45; not bad when you considered they threw in an upgrade to a top-floor, one-bedroom suite (with a little incentive from the Andrew Jackson and benevolent front-desk attendant) and comparable rooms... Thank you very much to the room reservation and catering staff as well as the engineering dept and hotel staff in the handling of our event. It was easy to communicate with them and our needs were answered promptly! The food for each of the event was just right and fresh, the presentation simple but classy and with reasonable price....
