Good location away from the strip. The Rio & The Palms is right across the street. Stayed at this hotel because of a tournament held there. Older crowd. Not too many smokers. Not too thrilled about the pool or Chinese restaurant in the hotel. The restaurants skimps on the meat, mainly serve you rice. Rooms are nice & clean.

I have stayed at most of the 4 and 5-star hotels in Vegas, and I love to do it. But, there are times when I do not need the hotel on the strip with the high price. Gold Coast is my favorite affordable hotel in Vegas. The employees are great. I love to gamble there (lots of locals, which I... More

rooms are simple and clean. we stayed in rom 112. DON'T stay on this floor. omg our room was situated right over/around the truck dock and it was constant constant noise with loading/unloading. We got in the room around 1 am and the noise was so completely loud for the remainder of the night/morning! i complained and they offered to... More

My friend and I stayed 4 days at the Gold Coast. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a midsize hotel off the strip. It is next to Rio and across the street for the Palms. They have a free shuttle that takes you behind Harrah's on the strip and you pick... More

I'll admit I had my doubts. I'm so glad I was wrong. We stayed one night at the Paris and two nights here on our last trip. I will, without a doubt, stay here again. Now, don't misunderstand, this isn't some 5 star resort, this is a Vegas hotel and casino. The best part? No lines. We checked in within... More

Staying at the Gold Coast was an excellent choice for a two week stay in Las Vegas. Ping Pang Pong has some delicious Chinese food, TGI Fridays had some good choices for American food and with the Palms and Rio nearby there were even more nearby. A short distance away there is a Mexican restaurant next to Money Plays, although... More

Just spent a 3 night weekend there and the rooms are much more reasonable than the Strip. The rooms are adequate-nothing fancy. The casino is smoky but bearable. The breakfast buffet was much better than the dinner buffet. lots of marketing gimmicks to get you to gamble and earn points. We had a blast bowling upstairs.

I have been in Vegas many times and have stayed both on the strip and off the strip. I am so glad I discovered Gold Coast because it has been the best hotel I have stayed in. The room was modern and super clean. The casino is huge and their slot machines have a good payback ratio. We had gotten... More

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights recently (June 18 & 19, 2014) with a visitor from Finland. I chose it since the Strip hotels were charging significantly more than this place was and I decided to give it a shot. The property is old and looking dated. Our room was well decorated, but the a/c wasn't on when... More

Quite easy to find and park under cover at this hotel. We were given a suite which was large and beautiful on the top floor. It had king size comfortable bed. The air conditioning was not noisy like some places. The jacuzzi bath was nice. The buffet breakfast was excellent value once you found the different foods. Used shuttle to... More
