Catchng up with my hotel reviews and I am sad to read Bill's will be no more, it will be turned into a 'boutique hotel'. Well, Bill's is part of history of the Strip and I'm sure fond memories of everyone who stayed there, we love our stay with friends for my husbands 40th and I guess more iconic now... More

Bill's Gamblin' Hall is the last of the 'old' casinos on the Strip. It's dirt cheap, but clean, comfortable, and best of all, is right in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. Across the street from Caesars, next to the Flamingo, it's hard to beat the location. It's probably not the place to go for a romantic getaway. But... More

I spent 3 nights there this past week. I was a single female staying alone and felt safe the entire time. My friends were over at the Flamingo next door and I am pleased with the money I saved at Bills. The Flamingo was not worth the extra for me, plus my friend had her money stolen from her room.... Stayed here for one night this week. Bill's is closing for good next month and I feel that the maintainance is now at the minimum until the final day. It is too bad since the older reviews showed this to be a nice and reasonable place to stay, but all good things have to come to an end.

It's central location, cheap rates & easy access to your room made Bills unique on the strip. I was definitely not the most modern hotel on the strip but that was part of it's charm! The rooms, hallways and casino floor are definitely not as flashy as other hotels on the strip but who comes to Vegas to sit in... More

Such a shame this hotel is going! It may not be the biggest or most glamorous on The Strip, but the location is perfect (right opposite Caesar's Palace) and because it is smaller, it has a far more friendly and less intimidating feel to many of the others, and you don't have to walk across a mile of casino floor... I stayed there for 3 days. 1. Difficult to sleep as you can hear vehicle noise and people's shouting. You cant sleep without alcohol. 2. Very old building and Beds are not that comfort. 3. No internet without additional fee 4. No microwave over or a coffee maker in the room 5. Casino is too small and full of smoke... More

Yup, I'm sure gonna miss Bill's when it closes on February 4 for a yearlong renovation that will alter its retro old-time Las Vegas character forever. Something tells me it's not gonna be $27 for a large double room mid-week anymore, Toto. What a shame. There is enough glitz and bling around already. Bill's was that fantastic exception: an unbeatable... More

I stayed at Bill's in June 2012 for 2 days and it was a nice and clean place to stay. I arrived 2 days earlier in Vegas from my road trip from San Francisco and I needed a cheap place to stay. I allready had hotel reservations for a downtown hotel, so i decided to check out a hotel on... More

We stayed here for my 2nd time but for 5 nights this year. It was quite early when we went to book it but managed to get a room and a room with a view of the Bellaggio fountains! I was ecstatic you can lie on the bed and you hear the crash of the water as it goes up... More
