however, Hard Rock is a cross the street. I'm not a big fan of staying in the major resort hotels in LV. I've always enjoyed my stays here at the Hyatt Place. Many years ago, this was another hotel suite brand, however, they have done a very good job of making it their own. Outstanding employees, that made us feel... More

We stayed here so we could walk to the National Finals Rodeo at the Thomas and Mac Center. Worked out great! No casino, no smoking. Awesome breakfast far and above others we have had in hotels. We had a rental car so didn't use the hotel transportation. Many business travelers stay here so quiet.

This place had a great welcome committee. We received emails welcoming us to the hotel 2 days before arrival. That was a nice surprise. Then when we arrived, they did not have our keys ready. The maid was suppose to let us in from the back door since the elevator was right next to the back door. She did not... More

We try to stay at Hyatt Place hotels during all of our travels and this one was the most dated and least clean out of all of them. Our room had that musty/old smell that some hotels have. After reading other reviews, I'm wondering if others had a remodeled room? We checked in late and were only staying one night,... More

This hotel is a gem. More important than this Hyatt Place's great location and immaculate facility, the staff appears to understand the importance of stellar customer service. During my four-day stay, I found that each employee (whether at the front desk, in the breakfast area, maintaining the pool, preparing rooms or in a managerial position) acted as if he/she owned... Despite being at the end of the runway, this small hotel is a great spot to stay in Las Vegas. Surprisingly quiet and located just a few blocks from the central strip (we walked easily), this hotel is very friendly, has a great breakfast, and backs onto UNLV - very convenient if you need to be on the campus. The... More

Stayed for our 1st Vegas trip care of Solar City and was worried that being off strip it could, well lets say was worried it may be kind of seedy..... new to the company, but should have known that Solar City would not do us wrong!! Super hotel for business customers during the week (which is when we stayed). Good... More

During a business trip in Las Vegas, I stayed at the Hyatt Hotel in Las Vegas. The Hyatt is a few miles from the airport and off ‘The Strip.’ However, you are less than a mile in walking distance to ‘The Strip.’ Two of my co-workers, who are in excellent shape, walked to ‘The Strip’ and back without a problem.... We have stayed at many Hyatt Place hotels in many cities. The Las Vegas one was definitely the oldest and least clean. The carpet was pretty nasty, but it is Las Vegas! We knew to expect the airplane noise and it wasn't terrible. The bed was against the window, though, so our daughter kept sitting up during the night to... More
