I was nervous about staying here because I knew little about the downtown area. Goes to show how little I really did know. The D was a blast. I may never go back to the strip again. As far as the hotel itself, the renovation makes the hotel feel rich wayyyyyy beyond it's price. We did need a guy to... More

I'm from Detroit originally and I go to Vegas all the time, as we now live in Phoenix. Just spent the weekend at The D Las Vegas Hotel & Casino during the Life is Beautiful Festival. Wow, what a great location downtown on Fremont St. The longest Bar is really cool, easy to get a drink and all the staff... More

Aside from the name which inspires some confusion, The D is a great hotel in a great location for anyone loving the Fremont Street scene. The only thing lacking is hold-em poker, but other casinos a few steps away have it. Great sports bar showing all the games. Staff is friendly and fun. And the rates are reasonable. My room... More

I booked this online not knowing anything of this place. Although it is on Fremont St in Vegas, and a noisy street at night, it's a great new hotel. Originally an old Las Vegas Hotel, it's been brought into the 2000's with excellent reno'd rooms, fantastic view of the strip, and the price was unbelievable. The deal I had was... More

We stayed on the 10th floor and it was like sleeping in a disco club. We ask to change and the manager was not welcoming at all. The room is old fashion style, I would give 1 star and not 3. The price is I unexpectable! To summarize, run away. Nightmare!

Clean with easy access to downtown. Casino is nothing special but it was ok. Ask for extra towels they only give you 2. Air handlers are not as efficient as some other casinos. Smells of smoke pretty bad. That's the only negative. Staff very friendly and very helpful.

I had a great experience with marc morgan when I arrived, he helped me a few times during our stay and i appreciate just friendly and courteous service. There needs to be a more variety of blackjack games, most of the tables were full when i wanted to play. and id love to see "BLACKJACK SWITCH" added to the casino.... More

I've stayed here before, but this time I had a coupon from Lexington Hotels and took forever to check in and then they charged me until I checked out which is not how it should be, the coupon should have been used in the begining just like a check, so at check out it took forever also, no one seemed... I stayed here from October 11 to October 15. The Good - I love the casino. Great music throughout the night. One of the liveliest casinos in Las Vegas. Drink service is quick and the Long Bar rocks. The Bad - Everything you read about the elevators is true. On the Saturday I arrived, about a 15 minute wait to... More
