We had heard the D renovated their rooms. We had a 7 night stay at Ballys, but to break things up, we decided to spend one night mid week downtown. The D corner king room was a good size. The king bed was very comfortable. The room also had a couch and chair. The bathroom was small but everything about... More

We stayed at the D hotel due to a Navy ship reunion, otherwise, we would have been somewhere else. We ate at Golden Nugget because the food was very $$ at the D. The gambling areas were VERY smoky, dark and LOUD. The youngsters looked dazed and as lf they had been there for days. A bartender told my husband... More

This is a pretty late review. I booked rooms here because it was by far the least expensive place to stay and still be "in town." I didn't realize we were headed to Vegas during the CES! The rooms were clean, cute and we had a decent view. My favorite part of the room was the USB outlets on the... More

Stayed at The D for one night after a road trip to Utah. Was happy with the room, Did not have any street noise issues. Room was clean and nice. Casino was rocking with music pretty loud but that just added to the party atmosphere. Like it much better than the Flamingo on the Strip for half the price.

We stayed 2 nights at the D as part of our girls annual trip to Vegas. We were thrilled to be able to check in at 11AM ( at no charge for a change), very nice. Front staff was very friendly and I ended up upgrading to a corner king suite with a small sofa and a fridge. ( not... More

September 2014. My husband and I received comped rooms and decided to upgrade to a D Suite for $100.00 per night which "included" the resort fee---NOT. We had to pay $10.00 per day, PER DEVICE for wi-fi use. The suite itself is spacious but decorated in very dark colours making the atmosphere gloomy. We were in room 3141 and could... More

Thank you for sharing your concern regarding the resort fee. When a room is comp'd guests do not have to pay the resort fee. However, WiFi is still charged per day. The resort fee is $20.00 and includes WiFi, local & toll-free calls as well as $10 of show tickets. We apologize for the confusion and will be ensuring better... More

We always can tell the condition of a hotel's rooms by the elevators. Filthy elevators that look like somebody spilled something (or worse) do not bode well. We were excited to see state of the art elevators, where you punch your room number in before entering, so that you are grouped with others going to a few floors, and you... More

Thank you for the feedback and we're pleased you had a great stay. We've recently upgraded our elevators as you mentioned, and we're glad you enjoyed the new system. The resort fee includes Wifi, local & toll-free calls, as well as $10 off show tickets. We are still making upgrades throughout the hotel and the pool is on the short... More

Usually I stay at the golden nugget. I really wanted something different for my time on Fremont this go around so thought I'd try the D. I get there around 130. Rooms not ready, check back in an half hour. Hang out for an hour, rooms still not ready, come back in an hour. Rooms still not ready and I'm... More

We were a little skeptical about staying here given the $17 per night rate but decided we didn't really have much too lose so we went for it. Turns out the D is a grate place to stay in Vegas. This was our first stay Downtown after having stayed at a few places on the strip and a few places... More

I just spend a weekend at the "D" Casino / Hotel in downtown Las Vegas NV. They did a great job remodeling this old land mark. The staff was very helpfull.
