2 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Stayed at the D over Super Bowl weekend. The rooms were 'remodeled', but you could still tell they were old and run down. Just looked like there were some new comforters and a couple of new pictures on the wall. Even though our room was non-smoking, it smelled awfully strongly of smoke. The elevators here are HORRIBLE. Wait times are... More

Friendly staff - except for maids - but I don't blame them for not being happy. Very fast service to bring up extra towels and maintenance came in to get the TV going. Easy to find the elevator! No coffee in the rooms - but McDonald's is attached to the hotel. Convient to Fremont Street - however you can hear... More

Our flight was canceled so we had to find a last minute hotel. The D was great. They let us check in at 9:00am so we didn't have ro wait. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was awesome! Comfortable beds and pillows. The casino and bar was fun. Younger crowd. Guys seam to enjoy the women dancing next... More

The room is above Fremont street, good if party all night not good if you don't. Can hear through the walls, called security twice, once at 3:30 am and again at 5:00 am on a Wednesday morning. Security even told them who called!! Imagine wheat happened when they left their party?? Was non smoking but room smelled like smoke. Put... More

We stayed at The D Hotel for one night. The price was 27$ + $20 resort fee. They took my credit card and told me there was a $100 security deposit. The room was no smoking, but my sheets reeked of cigarettes. The food at the D grill was of poor quality. The 'warm brownie' was cold, and my daughters... More

We had a great stay once again. We had a deluxe corner king on the 25th floor. Check in was a breeze. Loved new elevator system The new bathrooms were very nice the only downside was that the shower took over 10 minutes to warm up and get hot water. Both morning the wait was unbelievable for hot water. Side... More

Our experience at the D has been horrible. After our morning flight, we called ahead to see if we could have an early check in. We spent nearly 20 minutes on the phone with rude employees but finally had one employee who was able to confirm that we could have an early check in. When we arrived to check in... More

This was a hotwire room, I knew it was downtown, and I know what downtown is like, the room was pretty quiet, very clean and beautifully decorated! MUCH BETTER than the room at the Mardi Gras Casino the two nights previous. My only complaint would be the music volume in the Casino at night, and the whole building is wrapped... More

Ok, so I'll start by saying that I normally would have been the first to judge or laugh at someone who intentionally decided to stay on Fremont Street, as opposed to The Strip. The hotels generally are dated, a little sketchy, and all around not anywhere near as good as on The Strip. I'm glad I gave this property a... More

The D is one of the more challenging properties to rate because it does some things very well and others very poorly. At the end of the day it may come down to what you are doing in Las Vegas. It is not someplace I would absolutely avoid, but there are some concerns. The Good: - Price - Clean rooms,... More
