We have stayed at Sam's Town probably 7 or 8 times over the past several years. For us, the strip is too crowded and noisy. Sam's is quiet, clean, and has great great workers! The room prices can't be beat! Their fountain/laser show is great, and it's free!

This hotel is quite a distance from the Las Vegas Strip and downtown Fremont Street, but they do offer a free shuttle to various locations there. There is also an RV park connected to the hotel. Overall, the hotel looked like it could use a good cleaning and updating which was surprising for the price we paid. Doors of surrounding... More

I stopped by to watch Wrestlemaia. I couldn't find any place on the strip showing it so I wen to sams. The drink were very cheap I think pitchers of beer were only $5. They had a huge hall with 3 giant movie theater sized screens showing the match which was great. I had a great time for the 4... More

This is the third time staying at Sams Town in Las Vegas. The hotel and casino were great. Not crowded and very few small children. The slot machines were accommodating and we enjoyed playing bingo. The indoor park and water show was great. My complaint is with their buffet. Management needs to review how it is set up. Although the... More

Spent three nights the end of April at Sams. It was a good choice and easy to get to. We did not have a car but since we have visited here many time we knew how to manage their shuttle so as to avoid a taxi fee. We took the shuttle from Harrahs after staying 2 nights on the strip.... More

One of my favorite places to stay and play. Lots of slots and keno too. I did very well on video poker and won on keno also. The rooms are average but clean and very reasonably priced. I dont think the buffet is that great especially for breakfast. Lots to do here with the bowling alley and movie theatre.

My wife and i were looking for a clean and comfortable budget hotel option away from the hullaballoo of the strip. Gambling and nightlife wasn't on our agenda. I have family that lives in Vegas and we were coming into town for a visit. Sam's Town fit our needs perfectly. The room was quiet and spacious. The bed was soft... More

Located off the strip, around a 15 minute drive from the Strip (north of Tropicana or south of Flamingo @ Boulder Blvd), Sam's is a refreshing down to earth hotel casino that still remembers the good olde dayes of Vegas hospitality. On the outside, the place doesn't look like much. But once you enter, there is an awesome indoor atrium... More

The dealers in this casino were very fun! In addition, there are many different rules for the 21 tables, but they are more generous than most of LV. I'm not into glitze and glam, so figured there's nothing for me in LV--until we played at Sam's a couple of times! No hotel stay. The steak house was excellent!

Sam's Town is off the strip, but I think that is an advantage!! The rooms are set up in a square with "the park" in the middle--definitely go for the park view room. The park had trees, bird sounds and animated animals. Late afternoon and evening the animals and the fountain kinda come to life. There is music, fountains, waterfalls... More
