Average food and rooms. Could have had better customer service. The only good thing from our visit was that our rooms were comped. Needed more choices of casino slots and more table games. Do not wish to return.

Stayed at the rio 7-21-14 - 7-25-24. Everyone was over the top friendly! The American grill is the place to eat. Great food! Dealers were very nice! I love them! I really like the offers sent to me. Once you play and use your card they really take care of you.

The furnishings of the rooms were old and needed replacement, There was insufficient staff, The food was average and overpriced. The pools were overcrowded and did not have long enough hours, the wait for the valet was way too long. The casino is too loud, too dark and dingy,

This hotel is very near the Las Vegas Strip. They have a free shuttle that runs to the Las Vegas Blvd so no cab needed. Lots of great food choices and the staff was very friendly. You will be glad you stayed here.

Expensive food when compared to the value, room not cleaned properly, faucets leaking. Not enough of the modern slots that I like to play and the table games have a high minimum bet even when the tables are not very busy

I was there because of the bcaspl Pool TournaMENT. I ahve stayed at a lot of hotels and this was among the best. I htink the price of the buffet should be morereasonable. Gaming should be more flexable to be entertaining.

Spacious suite! Comfortable and with great views. Lively casino. Clean, beautiful pools. Buzio's Restaurant a must! Freshest seafood, best servers. Rio made for a very enjoyable stay. Definitely will return soon.

Decided to take a last-minute solo trip to Vegas; even though it was a last-minute thing, Rio provided a suite upgrade based on Rewards Program play from previous visit, and everyone I met went above and beyond to make trip great! Friendly staff, great program rewards, easy parking...it was all smooth. The ONLY thing I don't like is that they... More

Run down, no Total Rewards bus to Caesars, no free entertainment like they used to have Nothing special to make you want to stay off the strip, Go to Paris, Bellagio, or down town near Freemont St This was a great place to go to 8 years ago but not now.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Spacious suites and luxurious amenities complement the gaming thrills, sumptuous dining and hot entertainment found at Rio. The excitement of Carnival radiates throughout the casino floor and out to the pools of VooDoo Beach where guests can soak up the sun in both family-friendly and adults-only areas. Inside, guests can dine at Martorano’s, an Italian restaurant serving the world’s greatest meatballs, or experience the city’s finest panoramic views at VooDoo Steak. Rio’s Carnival World and Village Seafood buffets have been voted the city’s best and shouldn’t be missed. Crown Theater, a nightclub and live music venue, books everyone from Platters, Cornell Gunter Coasters & Marvelettes to Devo. Of course, you may prefer to dance above the lights and under the stars at VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub. Back on the ground, entertainers Penn & Teller and the Chippendales keep audiences enraptured nightly. ... more   less
