We stayed here as a family in August. While the room is large, the decor in the room is circa Holiday Inn. The hotel is located very far from the strip. When you walk to the strip, you pass a large parking lot, where several unsavory people congregate. I felt very unsafe walking to/from this hotel. I agree with what... More

Thank you for your response. We do work hard at keeping the maintenance of our rooms to a high standard. There has been a recent overhaul of the grounds around the hotel and to our knowledge there has never been an incident with anyone walking to and from the strip to the hotel. I hope you will consider coming back... More

Came to the hotel for a conference and to spend a fun weekend with a friend. We are super happy we stayed here. The kitchen came in handy, it was great to have a balcony, the bathroom was HUGE with a double vanity, and nice to have a separate bedroom with closed doors. We never heard anyone else and were... At this hotel we has some mixed experience. For the first time ever we had to tell the house keeping to clean the room after it had been made up, that is the bathroom and the kitchen. When that was done, parts of it should really have been cleaned once more. Apart from the that experience, we were very pleased... More

We celebrated my 50th birthday in LV and, following previous Strip hotel stays, decided to stop in a non-gaming hotel for a change. This was definitely a smart move, as our Princess Suite was spacious and clean, and the hotel facilities enabled us to recharge each morning before venturing out once more! The service was faultless and attentive (on my... More

I recently stayed at the Platinum Hotel for work. This was my second time staying here because I was so impressed the first time. It is just off the strip, behind Bally's, and a half mile walk to the Sands Expo Center, where I was working for the week. The Platinum is a non casino, which means you walk right... More

I've stayed at the Platinum hotel for four days with my wife and it's been the best hotel we've ever seen for its value, even better than hotels costing twice as much. Location, staff, service and rooms are excellent. Unlike most hotels on the Strip, its outside look is pretty average and when you get there the first time it's... More

I work in the hotel industry, so - when I walk into a hotel - I have plenty of basis for comparison, and this hotel is truly remarkable for its general concept and the size of its rooms. I was just there for one night - but I wish I could have stayed longer, and I would recommend it to... More

We stayed here on a move across country so we had our two dogs in tow. They even have a potty area in the middle of all that concrete. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were huge. Roof top pool faces the strip (one block away) so you can anticipate all your moves later that night while splashing around. More

The overall cleanliness of the hotel suite was less than expected. The first day we noticed various types of hair (long and short) on the bathroom floors (we had a two bedroom suite), which we cleaned up. We again noticed long hairs in the bathrooms on later occasions during the stay, indicating to us that these were likely left behind... More

Had reasonably high expectations for our stay around New Years 2011/12 in a Princess Strip View Suite after reading so many 5 star reviews here. Do people only rate 5 stars or 1 star and nothing in between?? We received a reality check with our visit: 1. Non smoking hotel but our room smelt terribly of smoke?? Requested room change... More
