Some of the reviews for South Point complain about the location (too far from The Strip) but if you have a car, there is no problem. The property is located between Las Vegas Boulevard South and a freeway interchange, so there is easy access to The Strip, downtown or anywhere else in the valley. But there is more than enough... First time staying at South Point had been there to gamble a few times and I LOVE the $1 roulette tables and my wife actually wins some on the slot machines. So we choose it for the gambling but we really enjoyed our time at the hotel, restaurants, and especially the POOL! Rooms were nice not great but a really... More

My only negative would be that the elevators are far from the garage. But that wouldn't hinder me from staying there again. Great roulette! More

It is 7 miles south of Mandalay Bay, but it is great for so many things. I would not recommend this property for Vegas virgins or people who hate cowboys(never met one, but if you're out there STAY AWAY)... but anyone else has got to try it. The Hotel is beautiful and pretty much has it all. Great Service, big... More

My wife & I stayed at the Hotel to attend a conference. The conference was very successful, the room was a good size with a good view. The Spa and massage were wonderful, although expensive. The hotel has a number of restaurants with reasonable food, although the restaurant staff were not very good catering for special diets eg coeliac (gluten),... More

If you are at South Point for any reason check out the spa. I had the best massage ever, by Kevin. So nice and really knew what he was doing. I have had many massages for my muscle spasms and have to say this was by far the BEST! The whole staff was wonderful. Can not say enough good things... More

My husband and I and another couple stayed here during a convention for my husband’s work. I wouldn’t stay again. Positives: hotel staff is friendly, there are at least two good restaurants on site, and the casino is great (including fun staff). We had a great time at the craps table, despite walking away with empty pockets. It was reasonably... More

I spent at South Point 6 nights. It is an amazing hotel. The room was big, clean, with a very comfortable bed, LCD and an amazing view of the city from the 14th floor. There's a big choice of restaurants with delicious food and different kind of entertainment for those who are not interested in gambling. It's a bit far... More

My wife and I were there in late April 2012 for a weekend. We loved the hotel! The room was spacious (20th floor) and very clean. We ate at the prime rib place as well as the buffet. Great prime rib at a great price. The buffet was pretty standard but good. The casino was fine, plenty of variety. We... More
