This is an interesting property to review. The real estate is very nice. The rooms are large and comfortable. The housekeeping staff does an excellent job. The restaurants are nice. The food is good and the prices are very reasonable. I have been to many hotels that are not remotely as nice as this one. If you are looking for... more

Stayed during PBR finals. Soaked up the sun by the jaccuzzi (pool area is beautiful/clean, but not as 'perfect' as our first visit). Never more than a handfull of people outside and we had the whole place to ourselves one evening. No free shuttle to the strip anymore, but valet told us of hourly, reasonable shuttle to Excaliber from timeshare... more

new hotel. nice, big rooms with bath and body works toiletries that's really a plus for ladies like me. not many things to see round the hotel. except of course the gambling. a bit far from the strip, would definitely need a car to go around. we went to the grand canyon, hoover dam that's why we didn't really bother... more

We traveled to Las Vegas for a business meeting which was being held at the South Point. The Rooms were great...very large...and the bathroom was huge and well laid out with seperate vanity/sink area. Nice for one of us to be showering, and one to still be getting ready. HUGE Plasma TV, and a great view of the strip. Check... more

What started out to be a liability in location is now a hugh plus. All the traffic on the strip has made it very uncomfortable to walk. Just too many people! South Points location is quiet and really not that far out anymore. The hotels prices are well in line and the people there make you feel at home. more

I booked 3 rooms for 5 days for the motorcycle auction last January. I had an aggreed price but they charged an extra $40 for 2 of the days for all 3 rooms. I complained and even wrote a letter to them after my return to the UK wich they never even replyed to. I woud never stay there again,... more

We stayed in South Point for 3 nights after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. We were so pleased with the hotel. This hotel is a medium sized hotel a short taxi drive from the strip. I had hired a car as we had travelled from LA - so we parked in the hotel car park for free and could easily... more

Cleanliness was excellent and the staff was very friendly. While the hotel is located away from the Vegas strip, it's just a short cab ride to that area. The casino staff was friendly and professional in every way. Wile this was a business trip, I'm anxious to return for a more leisure trip. more

The good thing about this hotel, it did not have the Strip prices. This was my 3rd trip to Vegas, and someone booked off the strip at South Point. The rooms were beautiful (no view though), and there was a lot to do at the hotel, movies, bowling, gambling etc). It was a $30.00 cab ride one way to the... more

Stayed there a couple of nights in August. Checked in early and went to the pool, too bad Las Vegas was having a wind storm. Didnt stay long at the pool, went to dinner at the Mexican place, not bad. I think the coolest thing was the Friday night happy hour from 5-10. The place was packed, sat withsome great... more
