This hotel at the southern end of town offers a very good atmosphere with a nice casino and hotels. You do however need a car or take the shuttle to go to the strip. But pay attention when taking the shuttle. It stops at midnight. On crowded times the casino has a moderate to strong smell of cigarette smoke. Rooms... More

This is absolutely the best hotel in Vegas. If you want to visit Vegas and actually relax, this is the place. Loaded with great restaurants, movie theaters, bowling and a great arena with constant events. Rooms are huge with great beds. Service is fantastic. Parking is available for larger vehicles, even in the valet. Pool and spa is great. Ask... More

I planned a family vacation for my family of five, with kids aged 25, 23 and 16, where we stayed three nights at South Point. I chose this hotel because it was away from the crowds found on the Strip but still has all of the amenities of all of the big name Las Vegas hotels. In addition to machines... More

We booked a reservation to the South Point mainly as a little getaway for my husband and I. We were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary and thought that this place would be a good place to come to. We were treated like no other place we have stayed at. They were TERRIFIC in everything. From the front reservation desk to... More

We've often stayed here. It works as a "stopping off point" for us when we are road weary from trips to Moab, Utah, and Colorado in general. Heading south, we prefer this edge of town. In the morning, you can avoid all the Las Vegas commuters and simply be on your way. What astounds us the most is that it... More

From check in to check out we were impressed with this hotel & casino. SO CLEAN! Carpets in casino and hallways being cleaned all the time. Our room was great overlooking the pool and our housekeeper, Connie, was the BEST! It was like she could read my mind and so friendly. I told her she was one reason we'd be... More

Stayed here for 4 nights for the Western States Sheriff Show. Room was fine, plenty of parking, tons of games, and the food is great. If you are looking for a Vegas experience at half the cost come check this place out.

We stayed at our Wyndham Timeshare across the street and frequented the South Point Casino daily. Food was good, especially the Primarily Prime Restaurant. There is bowling, bingo, and a movie theater, great free entertainment in the lounge and plenty of slot machines, etc. Only downside was there was a strong smell of cigarettes. Planning on returning again this year.

My son has a peanut/treenut allergy, and navigating restaurants while traveling can be a stressful experience. The team at the all-you-can-eat buffet at SP Casino were utterly incredible. I'm not a big fan of buffets, but it was a great option on-site for our family to all get something we could agree on for dinner, so we thought we'd give... More

I have stayed at the Southpoint several times when my kids have had sporting events in Las Vegas. It is a nice enough hotel with lots of great things to do for kids. Bowling, Movie Theatres, Arcade. The food we had was better than average. The Zenchin Restaurant has some great deals at happy hour from 2-6. We loved the... More
