We are returning home after a long weekend in Vegas. This was our second trip in three years. While I'd rate the Wyndham Grand above average to excellent in most areas, I would not stay at this loation in the future. You will definitely need transportation to/from the strip. It's around a mile walk just to Planet Hollywood. We arrived... More

We usually rent a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit from an owner, but as this was not available so we booked a 1 bedroom through the Wyndham web site. The suite was clean and had all the comforts of home with a kitchen, washer/dryer and 2 flat screens however the furniture was too large for the space. The dining room... More

Have been to Vegas enough times now that I really have no desire to stay on the strip. We are not gamblers, usually go to Vegas for events at the racetrack and to shop. There is no casino here, which was not an issue. It's a little far to walk to the strip, but they do have a shuttle. The... More

Stayed here for three nights in April. We busted the points piggy bank and stayed in the Presidential suite. What an awesome room. Pool area very pleasant and the staff was extremely pleasant yet non-intrusive of our time, from the front desk personnel to the cleaning crew. Just a very nice classy place and one I highly recommend. Seemed to... More

For a girls weekend we chose to stay here. It was clean, nice staff, and great to have a kitchenette area. We took cabs (which were super easy to get from our hotel- and we never waited), we never did use the shuttle, but one is available. It is fairly close by car to grocery and drugstores as well as... My husband, daughter and I stayed here on an RCI time share exchange, for Spring Break. Our 2 bedroom condo with full kitchen was terrific. There was a TV in each bedroom and one in the living room. The kitchen was well stocked, and therer was a comfortable dining area, and a breakfast bar. A large jacuzzi bath was in... More

My husband and I stayed at Wyndham Grand Desert in March. We had a wonderful time. We had a fully equiped clean roomy 1 bedroom unit.(The larger side of a lock-off) Our room faced the pool area and was very quiet. We spent much of our time touring the area and the city. You do not need to have a... More

Prior to my most recent trip I didn't recommend taking kids to Vegas, but my stay at Wyndham Grand Desert (without kids) changed my mind. As has been stated in previous reviews, this is a timeshare property and while you do not have daily housekeeping (personally, I don't mind not being awakened each morning by the sound of housekeeping knocks... My husband along with our 9 month old daughter and another couple stayed in a 2 bedroom suite in Tower 3 of the Wyndham Grand Desert. Our view was very nice, facing Planet Hollywood and Paris on the Strip. The room was very clean, nicely decorated and quite comfortable. We did have an issue with the fuse constantly burning out... Can't say enough about this resort! We have always enjoyed our stay for a number of reasons. Because this is a shared resort, it seems the hotel staff are more attentive to the needs of the guests, and are very pleasant throughout. It is also a GREAT place for kids as they have fun classes (making soap, for example) and... More
