This hotel changed hands in January of this year so services you thought you had booked will no longer be available. There is no breakfast facility although they advertised free breakfast prior to jan 2014. There is also no bar facility or complimentary cocktail hours mon to Thursday as previously advertised. Check your booking as the hotel refuses to do... More

We stayed at the Desert Rose Resort for 5 nights at the beginning of April 2014 in block 4 of the accommodation,at 0440 hours of the first morning we were woken with a noise which sounded like road works being carried out but found out later that it was the pool being cleaned at hooters opposite. On the 3 rd... More

Great location, right off the Strip. However, the hotel is old and worn. A/C was extreemly noisy, cupboard doors were falling off, yellow sofa was no longer the color of yellow... At check out we were promised a breakfast bag, and got one granola bar pr person.

After reading the mixed reviews, we as a family with one grandma, two kids and 3 adults still decided to give Desert Rose a chance. We stayed there for 2 nights in April and we were glad that we chose the resort. It was perfect location wise. 10 minutes walk from the strip, very quiet and neat surroundings. Our two... More

I was iffy in staying here because of some of the bad reviews I read but I was pleasantly surprised once we entered our room, it was very clean and cute especially if you want to stay for a longer visit. The bathroom was a bit small but me and my bf didn't mind so much since everything else was... More

Booked 7 night stay a few months back. Then several reviews appeared saying it was going downhill. All I can say is some people must have unrealistic expectations. Desert Rose has turned out to be all I hoped for. The suite was roomy, with fully equipped kitchen (as if you'd need it !), seperate lounge area, huge bed, plenty of... More

We are staying at Desert Rose right now and are very unhappy with how shabby the place is looking inside. Anybody that writes a good review must be getting paid . The carpets are disgustingly filthy, the furniture isn't good enough for a garage sale, the bathrooms are disgusting, the couch is disgustingly filthy. The outside is nicely kept, only... More

Since booking the breakfast and drinks had stopped. This didn't bother us. We got vouchers for coco's which we used once - we like variety. The apartment itself was on the ground floor with 1 bedroom. No issues with the apartment, it appeared clean, the carpet was clean and there were plenty of towels. The pool was lovely and welcome... We deliberately booked the Desert Rose because it is "off strip" and smaller & quieter than the big hotels on the strip. It proved to be a great decision, only a 5 minute walk from the strip at the south end beside the MGM & New York, New York hotels. It was booked through Thomas Cook as a bed &... More

Stayed at the Desert Rose from March 28th - April 4th. Beautiful little hotel located on Duke Ellington Way ( directly behind Hooters & Tropicana hotels), a 5 minute walk to the strip. After all day on the strip, it was nice to get to the peace & quiet. Rooms were fabulous. Full kitchen ( if you wanted to cook).... More
