We booked the Desert Rose on the recommendation of a friend who stayed here a few years ago. We were a little concerned when the reviews were scoring lower from the start of this year however I'm glad we didn't. change our plans. Firstly the location is only a 5 min walk from the MGM where you are on the... More

This was a great hotel to stay at.. far enough away to be reasonably quiet, and yet close enough, about 200 m, to MGM Grand to catch the Metro. It was nice and clean, with good facilities. We didnt use the pool but it always appeared to be busy and well patronised.

Thank you for choosing Desert Rose resort as your vacation destination. I know that you traveled a long distance to get here, and I am pleased that you enjoyed yourselves. Our staff enjoys what they do and it shows. Many travelers enjoy the "close, but not too close" distance to the strip. Enjoy the rest of your journey and we... More

I booked the room at this location through Hotwire. All I knew at the booking that it was a condo. When I arrived with my family of four at the Desert Rose, we were in awe of the gem this resort was. We were greeted by a fast and friendly staff at check in. We were also provided with an... More

I organised 10 rooms here as part of a group tour and we were not disappointed, either with the reservation experience leading up to our visit and the visit itself. The hotel was conveniently located close to the 'strip' but far enough away to be quiet and provide a degree of solitude. It is well laid out for informality and... More

Just off the strip (just behind the Tropicana about 5 mins walk to strip. Large rooms clean and well kept. Really handy with the full kitchen an utensils so we could get and store food for breakfast. Also no trouble parking and it was free. Really nice pool area. All in all a really nice and relaxing stay would recommend for... More

Thank you for your kind words. Our pool is one of the highlights year round, especially when it is as hot as when you were here. We also hear from many people enjoy the in-unit amenities that you mentioned. We are glad that you loved the proximity to the Las Vegas Strip. We all hope to see you and your... More

We stayed here folr three nights and were extremely impressed with the size of the room and the facilities within the room; the kitchen provision is the best I've ever seen in a holiday resort. The beds and pillows were fabulous and gave a great nights sleep. The resort is a couple of blocks back from the strip making it... More

I have stayed here a number of times as a solo traveller and as a teacher with a group of 40 students. The hotel is safe and small. Rooms are huge with balconies and kitchens. Pool and BBQ areas are well maintained. Breakfast is no longer served at the hotel (but this is no real loss as queues were always... More

We are pleased and proud of your review. As you mentioned the removal of breakfast, we are very fortunate to have Cocos so very close to our resort. We are very excited to begin the lobby renovation later this year, as well as the full units renovations later next year. Until next time we see you, take care. More

This was our first visit to the resort. Positives - clean suites, comfortable beds, pleasant staff, nicely located being Hoovers and the MOM Grand and The Luxor. Negative - there is no breakfast place or any restaurant within the resort, but Hoovers and Cocos are close by.
