A nice resort located far from the strip in a fairly upscale area with good shopping and restaurants, and Red Rocks Park and Mountains nearby. The grounds are beautiful, with great pool area. We usually stay at Red Rock Casino, and in comparison, the JW Marriott seems very conservative and a bit out-dated. As another reviewer noted, the hotel also... More

As it was my first time in Vegas I wasn't sure what to expect. I was there for a conference and to play golf and didn't know where "Summerlin" was but I'm 100% sure I'm coming back. The location is perfect for great golf choices, terrific restaurants and shopping and easy access to major highways to get to other areas... More

I thought this hotel was gorgeous!! Everything decorated so nicely. And it didnt lack in space anywhere. You felt like you were in a palace!! Lobby and grounds were pristine. I remember a nice fountain. I didnt dine there in a restaurant but the food by pool was fine. It did take them a while to see me at pool.... More

We have stayed on the strip @ Aria,Bellagio,Wynn, etc. - This resort is a nice option to stay away from all the craziness- The property is quite nice and well maintained - You can look out your balcony and see the red rocks/mountains so that you actually feel like you are at a true resort - The spa was lovely... This is a very nice place. It is quite a ways out. Be prepared for a long drive or taxi ride (and expensive) if you want to get to the Strip. The distance out helps with the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The spa, work out facilities and pool are all very nice. The staff was great. My only criticism is... More

The first thing to know about this property is, it's off the strip. That being said, I really love this hotel. Granted, I don't gamble, but I do enjoy their spa and pool area. There are several nice dining establishments in the area (Kona Grill, Cheesecake Factory, PF Changs, Claim Jumper, etc.) And for those that golf, it's a dream... More

We had a pretty good 2 night stay at the Marriott. Overall, the customer service was excellent. Had a little less than great experience with spa staff not giving me a tour of facilities or letting me know that when I booked a massage I had full access for spa use for the whole day. Two different staffers asked if... More

This is not my first time staying at this hotel nor will it be my last. Although this hotel is located well off the strip, you are not subjected to the noise, hustle and bustle of Vegas. For those wanting or needing to go to Las Vegas but who are not eager for the “Vegas” experience, this is the place... More

If you are looking for a resort away from the Strip this is it. Only about 15 mins. from the Strip but a world away. Beautifully landscaped property, quiet, and first class rooms. We had a king room overlooking a small water garden. Large tile and marble bathroom. Pool is beautifully landscaped, large with bar / grill and cabanas. My... More

I made online reservations with the breakfast special several weeks prior to our arrival. I did receive an email reminder about my reservation and how they were looking forward to my arrival. I know it was a canned message, but it was pleasant to receive an email reminder of my reservation. I called the day we were supposed to arrive... More
