The JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa offers a peaceful atmosphere with its tranquil environment and spacious accommodations, according to some guests. However, others feel the decor is dated, with a need for refurbishment to address the 'castle dungeon' aesthetic. While the service often receives commendations for being attentive and friendly, there are occasional lapses. Cleanliness is generally upheld throughout the property, yet certain travelers question the value, pointing out excessive fees and outdated amenities despite the range of dining options available.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL FOR YOU WEDDING NEEDS. They do not care at all about helping you have a beautiful day. They only care about how much you plan to spend. They are overpriced and not even that pretty of a place. They will price gauge you to make the most they can.

Stayed here while celebrating my daughter's birthday in Vegas. The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were comfortable and the staff was friendly and attentive. Shout out to the valet service who was always available to help me with my luggage, by packages and being very sweet to my family. Would highly recommend if you want to stay in Vegas but want to be away from the strip.

Stayed here for 4 nights on solo business trip in the palm tower. After reading the reviews on the age and condition of this hotel, I was pleasantly surprised that I had a much better experience. hotel staff were fine and check-in and check-out was hassle free. Like others noted, it is an older property but the room and public areas were nicely kept. Clean and functional. Large king size room. Jacuzzi tub worked and overhead shower was great. Window opens which is rare for a US hotel. In-room safe and fridge. Quiet even though the 2nd floor room looked over a parking lot. Spa area is very nice and included my stay. Two saunas with hot tub and cold plunge. There are two gyms with one in the palm tower. Downside being on that side is the only open reception desk is clear on other side of hotel in spa tower. Ate breakfast three times at Earl Grey restaurant with inconsistent service and food was diner quality. There is a Starbucks as an alternative.

This was the second family reunion I've hosted at the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort and Spa. Unfortunately it will definitely be the last. Our reservation was confirmed for arrival on Thursday, November 30 and departure on Monday, December 4. On the final evening of our stay, we returned to our room and ALL of our personal belongings were gone. All of our clothes, laptop computers, toiletries, food, luggage, etc. were completely gone. Obviously, we were shocked and immediately called the front desk. They informed us that they had made a mistake and checked us out of the hotel. They did not make any attempts at calling or emailing us prior to removing all of our personal belongings from our hotel room. Within an hour of my call, they brought several plastic garbage bags full of our belongings to the room. There were two big problems: First, all of our belongs were stuffed carelessly into our luggage and plastic garbage bags with zero regard or respect for our personal property. For example, our tootbrushes had been tossed into a plastic garbage bag with our street shoes. The second major problem was that not all of our belongings were returned. I called the front desk and told them that not everything had been returned. Thirty minutes later, the front desk manager and two security employees came to our room and told us our missing belongings "were not in the building." Obviously we were very concerned, so we contacted the local police. The following morning, a representative from housekeeping came to our room and returned most of the missing items. She informed us that our items had been in their lost and found. The food and beverages we had stocked the room with were never returned. My multiple messages to the resort General Manager were never returned. I still haven't received a return call, and full charges were applied to my credit card. This was certainly not the way we intended to spend the final evening of our family reunion, and a massive disconnect from the service and professionalism I expect from the Marriott Bonvoy brand. I would also agree with the recent reviews that this property seemed to be in a general state of neglect (piles of garbage next to elevators, long waits at the front desk, gift shop boarded up, etc.). It was a noticeable difference from my previous stay at this property in January of 2021.

Two (2) night intentional disaster stay by marriott in this terribly outdated, could care less property, completely void of bare basics with poorest service across any brand. Property does not disclose or inform guests of pool closure, two days of 'fire alarm upgrades' aka fire alarms continuously set off morning afternoon and night, enhanced without a single working business center, computer, fax, printer or internet. I can only thank the hotel staff for bouncing guests from Palm Tower to Spa Tower back & forth for no reason with absolutely nothing working. I have 100 choices of resorts to stay that have operational amenities, open pools, working business centers with elevated service. This dishonest motel6 communicates ZERO to guests because people would NEVER stay here, no mention of pool closures on website or at check in or inside the room. No disclosure of fire alarms being intentionally set to go off for 2 days, dirty showers filled with mold, broken balcony door, ooey-gooey sticky sofas, absent maid service, room left with soiled towels and glasses, ty. Miesha is the RUDEST least hospitable, yet offensive person. A Hyundai pushing high school attitude bursting with bad manners and aggression blaming the limitless downfalls of the property on 'marketing'...really!?! College 101, but wait...How You Leave Others Feeling After Having An Experience With You Becomes Your Trademark. Bye!

I stayed for four nights during a business meeting. The hotel is approx twenty minutes away from the main strip. The rooms are a bit tired and in need of some love, it was impossible to get the temperature right in the room, and the hot water for the sink only ran cold. The service was great, and the gym, although small, was clean. The food during the conference was nice. The conference room was freezing, I found it impossible to get warm and ended up with a cold.

This hotel is the place of destination weddings and sad old folks. Seriously— according to the staff we talked about, those are the two demographics. All the young kids hang out on the strip. A one way taxi ride is over $100. As a Marriott lifetime titanium, we were upgraded to the top floor in the spa tower. As others have said, the room is pretty sad and nothing like a JW. I got the “your room is ready” message from the Marriott app two hours after we were in it. The AC cycles on and off and so did our bed covers. Too hot, too cold, too hot… the coffeemaker is old school with a low end pouch of coffee and one paper cup. The overhead fan and dimmer switches were broken. The room was clean and quiet and every staff member was as friendly as they could be. Except for a CVS vending machine in the lobby, there is no retail. There are five restaurants; a steakhouse, large buffet, Asian, Italian and 24-hour breakfast called Earl Grey. We had sushi at Jade, the Asian restaurant. We sat at the bar because we were told they did not accept walk-ins, even though there were a dozen tables when we entered, and the same number when we left. The sushi was incredibly fresh and it was fun to watch and talk to the chef. The buffet was totally overwhelming with multiple stations with freshly-cooked food, and the chefs were available to talk to you. There were plenty of fresh vegetables, a carvery, salads, Asian food, breads and pastries, and a totally obscene dessert bar. The casino operations are completely separate from Marriott. Even though I am lifetime titanium I had no status with the casino. Unlike the casinos that I have been in at the strip, this one was full of pensioners, many with walkers. It was really sad. And the machines? I had no idea how they worked. Every one of them had huge electronic screens, and the betting selection panels don’t have an actual amount you are betting on— just unit numbers. I went through $20 on a nickel machine in 4 bets. So all in all, room was meh, food was great and staff are totally above and beyond. Would I come here again? Only if I was attending an event. I would never come here just to come here.

The outside of the building is posh and fancy. I loved the water features with falls, fantastic pool, and amazing conference center. Everyone from the cleaning crew, checkin, etc. were so very nice and welcoming. And the location is absolutely beautiful. However, the WiFi in the conference center sucked. I couldn't get pages to load fully and it made the business conference extremely difficult. The onsite restaurants are nothing to write home about. The only thing good was the Starbucks. Finally, I had some minor things wrong with the room that would cause me to never return, unless Marriott comped me a few nights and put me up in a premium suite. First, the tub faucet dripped all night. The shower has two heads, the regular one out of the wall, and one overhead. About ten minutes into a shower, the overhead head would start dripping cold water on my head, shoulders, and back. BRRRR There was no way to get around it, except to turn it on and warm it up. Even then, it would cool off again and drip cold water on me again. The mattress was the worst. It was not soft or comfortable at all. It was like laying on a cot. The pillows were like the ones in a hospital, hard and lumpy, not at all soft and fluffy. Finally, the worst thing about JW Marriott Las Vegas: The AC is on a motion detector that turns off every 15 to 30 minutes when it doesn't sense motion. I get that they are trying to save money because people will leave with the AC on and run up the electric bill. However, this is the stupidest way of trying to save a buck. With all the home automation, there are so many ways to solve this. Why am I complaining? The room would never, ever get cold enough for me to sleep. I had to lift a leg, jump out of bed, wave my hand in front of the sensor every 15 to 30 minutes to get the AC to turn back on. Stupid, stupid, stupid. I didn't sleep for the three days while I was there. Did I mention the WiFI was useless in the rooms too? Unless Marriott were to comp me some nights, put me up in one of the premium suites with fluffy beds with a pillow top, fluffy pillows, and AC that stays on during the night, I will never go back and will not recommend JW Marriott Las Vegas to anyone. It's a wolf in sheep's clothing.

I so enjoyed my stay - five days over a weekend. I had a room in the Spa Tower, 6th floor that had a view of the Angel Park Golf Course and the Strip. The views at night on my balcony were exceptional; quiet and beautiful. I booked a cabana for the family arriving independently, and the pool service was great. Cocktails and lunch from the poolside cafe were very good. Only one drawback: I booked my room Months ago and didn't remember all of the perks that came with my specific reservation. I therefore forgot that I had $50/day in dining credit. Make sure that you ask at check-in if anything special applies to your reservation. Take advantage of the little 'perks' booklet. I won $33 . . . for free! The booklet also had a coupon for a day using the day spa (no services, but superior pools, steam rooms, etc.). Well worth the time there. Very posh and relaxing.

We had a standard king room that was so spacious and had a walk-in closet. It was very quiet. The bed and pillows were super comfy, I slept like a baby. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and both were very good.
