Stayed with my dad at this hotel. Really it is perfect if you don't feel the need to be at the strip everyday. I went there to gamble and relax. The limits are usually smaller then if you were to play on the strip. Lots of Video Poker for a nickel if you wanted. They also had craps for $3.00... more

We stayed at the Suncoast for 3 nights last week & it was a delightful place to stay. Our room was on the 7th floor overlooking the golf course & a beautiful view. In fact we were in a mini suite & it was a lovely room, The bed was very comfortable. We only ate at the buffet but the... more

Truly a magnificent hotel. Beautiful, spacious rooms; massive bathrooms. Not anywhere near the strip, but if you are a hiker/climber, this a great location to access the Red Rock Canyon/Spring Mountain Recreation areas. Would go back in a heartbeat. Stay away from the tight slots though. more

My husband and I went to Las Vegas at the end of October for a quick getaway before heading on to Zion and Bryce National Parks. All in all, the Suncoast met all of our needs. We liked being off the strip. The rooms are exceptionally nice with huge glass windows overlooking the golf course. The low key casino was... more

After visiting the Suncoast last year for dinner and a bit of gambling while visiting friends in Summerlin, we decided to stay here for two weeknights in September as part of a West Coast trip. It was very convenient for what we wanted as neither of us are big gamblers and were not interested in being on the Strip since... more

Stayed here for 3 nights in september, really loved this hotel, about 10 miles from the vegas strip, but would sooner be in this area then the strip, it's quite small compared to those big strip hotels, but that suited us better, the staff are very friendly, and the rooms are lovely and spacious, the pool area is small but... more

The Sun Coast is the host hotel for the USTA Women's 4.0 Nationals tennis championships in Las Vegas. I would not recommend this hotel for the following reasons: Pool doesn't get sun until 5 PM. "High End" Steak House on site has really mediocre food. Smoke in the casino- which you have to walk through to reach the elevator to... more

Suncoast is a nice place to stay in the residential area way way off the strip. I went there on business, so sightseeing wasn't on my agenda so this was fine with me. Rooms are roomy and cozy, comfortable pillowtop mattresses. The A/C was weak being a small central unit in the wall rather than the typical large boxes most... more

We stayed at Suncoast to see friends who lived nearby. I have two school aged children, and the casino part of the hotel was unavoidable because it is located on the first floor. The rooms were clean and relatively large with a spacious bathroom. I was worried that our non-smoking room would smell of cigarette smoke but it did not.... more

We stayed at the Suncoast for 3 nights in September and enjoyed it very much. The hotel is off the beaten track (about 15 minutes drive to all the major action) but offers a slightly more sedate alternative to the Strip or downtown Las Vegas. The rooms are huge, as are the beds and are immaculately clean and comfortable. I’m... more
