I honestly don't understand the big bruhaha about this hotel, especially in Vegas, where you can find much better ones at the same price level, as long as you know where to look (JW Marriott, for example). They are trying to put Westin lipstick on the Element cow. There is nothing Westin-ish in this inn, because that's what it is.... More

On the surface, this is a beautiful hotel. The positives: I liked the concept of a "green" hotel. Location is okay - further from the strip than we expected but perhaps that had to do with the fact that we're not familiar with the area (took us longer to get anywhere!). Front desk staff and the breakfast personnel were friendly,... More

I should start off by admitting that I'm not a fan of the Vegas strip, so the fact that this was away from the strip and didn't have a casino anywhere in sight is a HUGE plus for me. The property is quite close to the Red Rock hiking area, which is a great place to explore, as well as... More

I am a huge fan of Starwood properties and wanted to try the Elements brand. I'm looking forward to trying them out in other cities. I didn't spend tons of time in the room but this hotel is reasonably priced and close (15 minutes) to the Strip and airport. I was most impressed with the breakfast--great selection and very friendly... More

We wanted to be away from the strip and this was the perfect place. Quiet, out of the way, reasonable-sized hotel, pet-friendly, green, with special hybrid parking. The rooms are comfortable, reasonably priced, and the king suites have full kitchens. The staff are very helpful and offer suggestions for nearby dining. The breakfast includes an egg-white option and the smoothies... More

I stayed at the Element for my first time last Sunday and it was phenomenal! I wanted to get away from the Las Vegas strip and have a relaxing night on my own. The Element was about a 15 drive (or less) away and was perfect for me. It's a smaller hotel and all eco-friendly. The room had beautiful amenities... More

We were looking for a family hotel to stay at off the Strip. Booked it through Hotwire, so we had NO idea what this hotel was about. It was a pleasant surprise. They call themselves a "Green Hotel." It was an interesting experience. They rent mountain bikes at the front desk for free and the hotel gym takes up a... More

This was my first time staying at the Element Hotel in Las Vegas. I am familiar with this Eco-minded hotel from Westin as I have attended some business functions with my company at their Denver property and was impressed first and foremost by the service, but also loved the attention to detail when it came to the "green" side of... Great proximity to Red Rocks (climbing, hiking, biking), the rooms were very attractive and comfortable. The pool has cabanas and a shallow part that toddlers can walk in, and the complementary breakfast was good quality (smoothies in shot glasses, egg or egg white breakfast sandwiches on English muffins along with a lot of other options). It's quite a feat to... More

Stayed with the kids for a Spring Break basketball tourney. Loved this place. The staff is great Cynthia that manages the morning free breakfast service is as sweet as they come. Breakfast is much better than the typical hotel continental. The kids especially loved the smoothies. The rooms are clean and modern. The kids also loved the wii in the... More
