My wife and I stayed at Harrahs in December 2011 during the Christmas holidays. We've stayed here many times before and the quality has always been pretty consistent. Our stay was great. We checked in late, around 11:30 PM, and there were no "standard" rooms available, which is what I booked with a special through expedia. So, they upgraded us... More

Rooms a little tired but clean. Enjoyed casino (Thank you Harrah's ) . Buffet was disappointing with lots of variety but cafeteria standards of quality and decor. It was a nice easy place to stay and I would consider going back again. It was very close to a lot of off premises amenities and did not require a manual and... More

We had a good room overlooking the strip for a very good price, $30 a night average, including a weekend!! The downside was that it was small with a queen only but we didn't care. The room was cleaned every day and we have no complaints. Terrific location, we ate elsewhere on the strip. So easy to catch the Deuce... More

I had read on Trip Advisor that Harrah's AC system had caused problems for some people. So when I called for maintenance to come fix the TV (remote not working) I mentioned it, the nice gentleman tweaked the settings to keep it running constantly - but told me to not touch it. Somehow during my 2-night stay (for a conference... More

Horrible. I had to change rooms because of a busted modem, only to find my second room also had zero internet access. Being in town on business, this was a huge obstacle. The staff directed me to their telephone help line, wherein I spent an hour and a half trying to reset a broken modem, all the while my phone... More

Stayed for a week in December 2011. After reading some of the reviews on TA i didn't know what to expect. I was really impressed with the hotel. It's large but not so large that it's intimidating. very happy with the room, we had 2 double beds and was really large. I agree that there isn't enough wardrobe space or... More

While there was nothing spectacular about our stay at Harrah's we were pleasantly surprised that the room seemed to have been either very well kept, or fairly recently updated. The room was small, and nothing special compared to other Vegas hotels, but it served it's purpose for my wife and I during our 5 night stay. Staff was helpful when... More

Normally not my first choice on the Strip, but a weekday off-peak trip to Vegas offered room rates too low to pass up. Centrally located on the strip, it's an older hotel, but everything was clean and decent. For country music lovers, there's a Toby Keith bar and grill, with celebrity guitars on display. Harrah's is one property on the... More

I have been staying at Harrah's since its "Riverboat" days. I love the place because 1) it's right in the middle of the strip; 2) you don't have to walk forever through the casino to get to your room; 3) the pool is right there when you get off the elevator, and you don't have to make a death march... Stayed here for two nights which was two nights too many. Ended up here as last resort during CES at gouging convention rate of $300 a night...not worth most of the cost. CES hotel rates in Vegas are headed in direction of COMDEX - so expensive and overpriced that attendees will think twice before deciding to go next year. Central,... More
