This was my second stay here and not much changed. It is a nice clean hotel that has a few clubs inside. If gambling, it takes the waitresses a long time to bring you drinks so you are better off going to the bar. We chose this hotel because it was close to the Mandalay Bay where the Hoodie Awards... I can't complain about my stay at the Luxor. Despite having some issues, the staff was very friendly and quick to proceed. The check-in was very fast, the room was clean and tidy, and the pyramid with its "inclinators" - elevators that move in 45 degrees along the edges of the pyramid - is a very cool place to stay... We stayed at the Luxor for the recent CES conference because we got a pretty good deal on the the room. It was nice but the hotel is in need of some updating. Our room on the 9th floor over looked the back of the facade from the second floor shops and the roof of those shops. There was all... More

I've stayed in several different properties in Vegas, but this was the first time to stay in the Luxor. I understand that the hotels really don't want you to stay in your room, but this property really does need an upgrade. It's just really starting to feel rundown and in need of service. The first night there, the TV didn't... More

The Luxor has rather standard rooms at moderate to low prices. All in all, it's a pretty good deal unless you're in Vegas for a convention, in which case the location at the far end of the strip will cost you so much in cab rides to the LV Convention Center that you might as well pay more money and... I tried placing an order through in room dining for my parents anniversary. The manager was rude and said they only take orders by fax. I'm like..who uses fax anymore? I can print the form, sign the form, scan the form, and email it to you. She would not hear anything onlys saying she only takes fax. Whats funny is... More

A very cool shape and different from all the other resorts to choose from in Vegas. We went to celebrate my nephews 21st birthday. His mom and I got the spa room which was very spacious and worked well as a place to hang out and hatch our next adventures since we had the side living area. We were extatic... More

Believe all the other reviews - This hotel is very average! Time to book-in/out was around 40 minutes. They are obviously trying to cut-down of wages by only having the very minimum number of staff working at this place! The rooms are very worn. We paid extra for a Spa Room - not really worth it. We knew other couples... More
