My friend and I visited "The Bar" located at the Fremont Casino on 8-29-15 at about 8pm and encountered a very rude bartender named "Ronnie." We played video poker, drank and watched a football game which would normally would be a fun endeavor. We each put $20.00 in the video poker machine and started playing while watching football. During our... More

They said the rooms are remodeled but they didn't say that they went to Walmart and the dollar store for supplys. The rooms are not much different tan they were 50 years ago. They offered 3 free nights. I should have known better. Spend the $100 a night and stay at the golden nugget.

The Fremont is definitely old school! The building is old, rooms are small and they don't have a pool or room service. When we cooked this trip, we were looking at staying downtown and viewing several properties. We didn't realize this one didn't have a pool. We found out when we checked in there was no room service. Other then... More

I have stayed at this hotel several times with very few issues. The hotel/casino is definitely older, but that is what I like about the hotels Downtown. It is a good value, and at this point, they do not charge a resort fee as many of the Vegas hotels now do. The bathrooms are tiny, which can be a bit... More

Great price, great location. Rooms are on the small side, bathrooms are too. Perfect if you are a solo traveler, you're right in the middle of the action and you didn't need all of that much space anyway. It was clean, room had been updated. Clientele was on the upper end of the age brackets, don't look for and club... More

We stayed at Fremont loved it as always . Told them it was my husbands birthday the upgraded our room to a suite. So nice. Lots to do and great places to eat. We watched Monroy play at the 3rd street stage. Its right across from hotel and was great to be right in front of the stage. Will definitely... More

Older hotel in Downtown Vegas. Be sure to join the B Connected club if you're planning to return. You get discounts on the rooms and even free nights-they will give you the highest priced nights (weekends) as your free nights. It is not a fancy place but clean and most of staff is friendly. Convenient to downtown and the bus... More

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. All of the staff, whether it be the housekeepers, table dealers, cocktail waitresses, etc., were extremely friendly. That alone made our stay rather enjoyable. The rooms were small and very dated, but its Vegas so we weren't in our rooms much. The hotel is in the center of Fremont street and has plenty... More

It's been a long time since the property has had updating and it's really starting to show. The bathroom plumbing can be scary when the toilet rises all the way to the top of the rim before going down and with the drought situation, you would think they would upgrade the toilets so they don't have to be flushed 3... Sam Boyd property, Be Connected players card can be used at any Boyd casino, easy to get points. I liked the downtown location for playing several good casinos and of course watching the light show. Very comfortable without being overwhelming large. Good restaurants. Just lots of fun.
