We wanted to stay downtown and see what it was about. Booked it for 80 bucks a night, shouldn't ever be above 50 in my opinion. We stayed on a non smoking floor, which I highly recommend. The rooms are very small and very worn looking. They could stand to do some touch ups. The casino it self wasn't bad...Golden... More

My husband I booked this hotel on a last minute decission to go to Vegas. Now if you are looking for a WOW room with all the glitz and glam this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a cozy quiet place to rest after a day surviving Vegas than this is a great choice. Their... More

We made our normal fall trip to Vegas a week earlier than normal and split our time up among 3 different casino/hotels (we were in town for 8 nights) the gentleman at the front desk at check in was most accommodating and we got exactly what we requested as far as room and location. Our room was not huge but... More

Stayed for one night here. If you're a gambler, I imagine it's fine. The room is a bit tired, but the bed was comfortable and it was clean. The bathroom was definitely in need of a renovation, as it was pretty worn and didn't have the standard of a good hotel. There was nothing extra in the room -- no... More

Older, classic hotel. Very quiet in the hallways. Bathroom is small, but we each got ready one at a time. Whenever we asked for things for the rooms (amenities), received them in a timely manner. Valet service was very good (had an elder traveling with us).

We stayed for 2 weeks in a non-smoking 2 queen bed room. We go to Vegas for gambling, not to sit in the room, and we thought the room was ideal. We were on the 11th floor, facing towards Slotzilla. The room was quiet, apart from the slamming of other doors on the floor, but this is due to the... More

Although we have never stayed at the Freemont, we both have player cards & always play there early morning. The double deck blackjack does not have the silly 6 to 5 odds & the dealers are great. Although we only visit twice a year now, they always recognise us, as do the drinks ladies. The comps from the pit bosses... More

Great location, ok hotel, booked in advance to ensure we had a room on a Saturday night in Vegas, promised a rooftop pool on website but in fact pool is in a neighbouring hotel 1 block away, so felt website should be clearer. Valets where very helpful as we arrived on 2 motorcycles and bellboys where great, staff very helpful... More

Very basic room. Everything was old, but it was clean. No microwave or refrigerator, but it did have a room safe, which was a nice plus. Two negatives: 1) They wanted $10/night/device for wifi. 2) Valet parking only. Not only did the tips get expensive since we used the car a lot to drive around Vegas for the two days... More
