I have stayed at the Fremont Hotel a number of times when visiting Las Vegas and all have bee satisfactory. My latest trip was a little disappointing because of the room rate (NASCAR in town), but also because the rooms seem to be going downhill a little each visit some peeling wall paper in the bathroom and little things like... Stayed Wednesday through Saturday during basketball playoffs. Hotel sold out all nights. Room small but adequate and clean. Housekeeping staff seems very conscientious. Destination hotel for package travel from Hawaii bringing older demographic. In the heart of Fremont St Ex or Freak Show, depends on your perspective. Great if you like watching people and don't mind being panhandled but not... More

AS always the staff was excellent. When I first got into room noticed no A/C, had maintenance there in 5 min. problem solved in 10. I will say again this is "old downtown" buffets, gambling and fun on the Street. Glitz, glamor and high prices are on the Strip. I remembered to ask for coffee pot at desk this time and... More

Good place to stay if you're downtown and don't want the hustle and bustle of the strip. You can catch the complimentary shuttles to Sams Town and back. There's shuttle schedules at the hotel. (don't forget to give the driver a tip). As for downtown, they usually have live entertainment at night and the zipline above Fremont street. There's lots... More

We stayed for 2 weeks at the end of January to celebrate my 40th Birthday. We had previously stayed last September and found it to be perfect for our needs so booked again for this stay. Since we got back we have booked again for another 2 week stay in September. This stay we were put in room 910. It... More

This hotel is old, but right in the middle of Fremont Street. The buffet is good and a great value. Be sure to show your B Connected card for a discount. The room was clean. The AC raddled. Small bathroom. Only stayed one night as The California was booked full.

I stayed here for a night because the room was cheaper than it would have been to take a cab from my place to downtown and back. My expectations were pretty low and they were essentially met. The hotel has a great location right on the Fremont Street Experience! You can easily get to all the other attractions in downtown... More

Made a reservation three weeks before my arrival. When I arrived to check in they told me that the hotel was over booked and I would have to stay at the California or Main Street. The check in people were very uninformed as to what to do both at the Fremont and the California. Took almost thirty mins at each... More

I've been a fan of the Fremont Hotel for a long time. The last few years I've split my downtown time between this and the D. The D is admittedly nicer and more recently redone but there's something about the Fremont that always calls me back and feels like home. Bonus points to the Fremont for having elevators that actually... More

I was in town for NASCAR weekend and Fremont was the only downtown Boyd property where I could get a comped room. If given a choice I would have picked Main Street Station or even California, but this was my only free option. Even though I was by myself, the room still seemed small. It would be uncomfortably small if... More
