Just spent a week in Incline Village. We have stayed in South Lake Tahoe before but I now prefer the less busy and less commercial North Tahoe area. The beaches are beautiful and less crowded (I think cleaner, too) although due to record snowfall last winter the locals said that there is "less beach and water is colder (50-55 degrees)".... more

If you are looking for upscale, this isn't the place. But it was very clean and roomy. Master bathroom was small and the 2nd bathroom was tiny. Still too much snow so we couldn't use the pool or tennis courts, but we enjoyed the pool table and raquetball courts. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Overall a very pleasant stay. more
