Our extended family accompanied my husband on a business trip to this lovely site. The hotel is on Lake Tahoe and uses this beautiful site to its advantage. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I just stayed here for 4 nights last month. It was nicer than I expected. This hotel is a spruced up old hotel. The lobby is nice, and the restaurant on the lake is photogenic (food is good but $30-50 per entree and not worth that much). We stayed here in one of the lakeside cottages for 6 days in early March. We had heavy snow and they were very quick to clear the driveways, etc. The service was great, food was expensive.
