I am shocked by all the positive reviews. I am an experienced traveler and this is one of the worst hotels I've stayed in. It was the worst hotel for the price. My issues include: 1. The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. It sagged so badly, if I fell asleep, I awoke with the sensation of falling... more

By far the best hotel to stay at while visiting Lake Tahoe. Everything you expect from the Hyatt Regency - first class service, beautiful lobby, spa, pool, and rooms. The restaurant, The Lone Eagle Grill http://loneeaglegrille.com/home.html, was awesome. We sat outside for lunch looking across the Lake at the snow capped mountains. We then went to the outdoor fire pit... more

Beautiful location by the beach of Lake Tahoe. Nested away from hustle and bustle. Every staff person was friendly, courteous, and helpful. The casino staff persons were the friendliest I have ever experienced. They taught me how to play craps in a fun manner. Rooms are good size and bed was really good. Beach was beautiful and service wonderful. Many... more

Our extended family accompanied my husband on a business trip to this lovely site. The hotel is on Lake Tahoe and uses this beautiful site to its advantage. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They really couldn't have been nicer! The pools were pretty, spa great. Good food. We recommend this hotel for business or pleasure. more

Stayed four nights at this hotel before Memorial Day weekend. Spotlessly clean, extremely friendly staff, nice casino, great workout and fitness center. Attention to detail in the decor is fabulous. Beautifully landscaped grounds and very nice pool and private beach are fantastic. However, one drawback, food was good, but way overpriced along with the beverages. Go across the street to... more

We recently celebrated our 20th anniversary at this hotel. While the room was clean and well-appointed, it was a bit in need of refurbishing. The public areas of the hotel were awesome. The lobby was warm and welcoming with a huge double-sided fireplace. Great restaurants...Lone Eagle Grill was excellent for an upscale dinner overlooking Lake Tahoe. Sierra Cafe had a... more

I just stayed here for 4 nights last month. It was nicer than I expected. I LOVED the pool , it was 90 degrees and you can get into the pool from the inside and swim out, perfect for chilly days. the jacuzzi was piping hot with strong jets. I felt like a million bucks after stepping out !! the... more

We booked a room here for our 25th wedding anniversary, and stayed three nights. The only complaints we have are the fact the restaurants closed early on the weekday we arrived and we couldn't find anywhere to eat at 9:30 pm. Also beware of the $25 tax per night, and another $20 "resort fee" per day was added to the... more

This hotel is a spruced up old hotel. The lobby is nice, and the restaurant on the lake is photogenic (food is good but $30-50 per entree and not worth that much). The main photo used by the hotel lured us here, but the photo was the restaurant on the lake. The photo carefully stops just short of showing you... more

We stayed here in one of the lakeside cottages for 6 days in early March. We had heavy snow and they were very quick to clear the driveways, etc. The service was great, food was expensive. Ten bucks a day for internet in room or lobby. You can however use the business center for free. There is a small casino... more
