We got a great price through Expedia through Sams Club and stayed 7 nights. The hotel/casino is super clean and our room was super clean too. There was a light bulb out on our nightstand, and someone came up within an hour to replace it. The armoire for the TV had a loose door that we didn't complain about and... more

Average room with a $14.99 resort amenity fee. Al table games in local area have lowered to $1-$3. Sunset still at $5 and can't get players or locals to come back. Locals won't stay since resort fee is so high. Sam's Town charges $1 and Eastside Cannery no fee. Table game limits are lower and you can last longer. Service... more

We have actually stayed at this hotel 3x in the past 6 months without any major issues. The staff is pretty nice and helpful. However, here are a few things that I have minor issues with: We prepaid for a room through Orbitz a week in advance. We requested a queen, non smoking. When he get to the hotel all... more

My mom and I stayed at SunSet Station September of 2007. My uncle lives in Henderson and he suggested staying there. I wanted to stay on the strip but it made more sense for us to stay at Sunset. Its only a short drive to the strip and its a great price for its value. The service was great, and... more

Stayed at Sunset Station for a couple nights, stayed before and liked it and wanted to stay again, the last time we stayed was in 2005 and the hotel really hasn't changed much, except some minor remodeling, be aware Sunset Station is in Henderson, at least a 20 minute drive to the Strip, maybe a 10 minute drive to the... more

My wife and I stayed at the Sunset Station for 3 nights this past weekend. I think we got very good value for the money--we paid $55 per night total (including the "resort fee" of $10, which covers wifi internet and some other services). The hotel is in Henderson, about 20 minutes by car from the Strip. THe area around... more

My husband, my 7 year old daughter, and I stayed at Sunset Station for six nights from December 25 – 31, 2008. We got a great deal through my sister-in-law, who received a special rate offer in the mail. The midweek rate was $19/night, Friday – Saturday was $39/night. Unfortunately, only smoking rooms were available when we checked in; we... more

I stay at Sunset Station frequently when I am in the Henderson area for business. I typically like to avoid the Las Vegas strip scene when I am here for work and this place is fine. The rooms are rather plain and in decent (not great) shape. I wish they would update the bathroom showers. The casino tends to attract... more

This hotel / casino offers everything for the Vegas vacation: lots of restaurant choices, all sorts of gaming (sports book, poker, table games, machines), pool scene, nearby shopping, etc. But the big difference is it is away from the rush and crush of the Strip. You can get in and out easily, and the betting minimums are very reasonable. The... more

Wow, what a fantastic place! We stayed at Sunset for 2 days with a buy a night get one free coupon out of American Casino Guide-2 nights for $59.99!!! We had our teens with us (13 & 14), so we had a 2 queen bed room. The kids loved it-bowling alley, movie theater, and food court. By far, the best... more
