We were attending a wedding at the Ritz next door to the MonteLago condos so two of us chose to rent the two bedroom condos. We were both in the Luna building right next to the bridge leading to the Ritz. {The wedding was extraordinary-the Ritz simply could not have done a better more elegant job.} Our room (201) had... more

We stayed here the last 4 nights of our holiday. We wanted to relax and catch the sun before our return to the U.K. This hotel was the one we were worried about the most. The reviews on Tripadvisor were mixed. I was so glad we didn't cancel. We had a 2 bed/bath suite in Luna di Lusso (east wing).... more

The pools were great as was the whole village theme. It was nice to walk into the village and have so many different restaurants to choose from. But as for the rooms, we had a 2 bedroom and I thought that it was rather cramped. The bathroom could of been cut back in size and then the bedroom could of... more

Stayed for 2 nights in late August with my wife and an 11 year old daughter. The place was deserted like a ghost town because August is considered off-season. It definitely was melting HOT. But the place was gorgeous and we received full attention and impeccable service from the staff at the reception desk, house keeping, restaurant, golf course, etc.... more

We just got back from the Montelago Resort. I would like to echo the comments of the previous reviewers. The place is isolated, virtually deserted, with few services. Most of the shops in the little "village" were vacant. Lake Las Vegas was obviously envisoned in better economic times to be a vibrant community of residences and resorts, but that has... more

Having previously stayed in a casino hotel on the strip, for this trip we though we would stay in a resort hotel. Originally booked into the Meridian on Flamingo, we had to sort out a last minute replacement when the Meridian lost its hotel licence. Although only a party of 4, with 2 teenage daughters determined not to share a... more

What a place! As you fly in the Vegas from the east, look north as you pass over Lake Mead and you'll see this resort... a recreation of an Italian village, right on the water. We stayed at Montelago in a fabulous two bedroom suite in Luna East Tower for all of $269 for August. The room was lovely... a... more

We are frequent visitors to Las Vegas and thought we'd stay off strip this trip. We chose MonteLago after doing some research online and because we have had previous good experiences at Intrawest properties. We were attracted by the website pictures and the value of having a condo with a full kitchen and living room for our family of four... more

Can't express enough how much we enjoyed staying at the Montelago. Stayed 6 nights in the Luna Di Lusso Two Bedroom Lake View. Full kitchen was great, had 1 king bed bedroom, 1 queen bed bedroom and sleeper sofa in the living room. Each had TV, 2 full bathrooms and a washer/dryer. 2 balconies with views of the lake. Room... more

We were in town for a wedding on the grounds and thought this place was great. The price is very good for what you get at this villa. The rooms are pretty fancy, the pool/hot tub are good, and the food is good. The staff also provided excellent service. We really love how this place captures the look of an... more
